Yeah, Hikari hasn't seen an update in a while, If you're looking for a replacement, there isn't one exactly like it. However, you can try River, which is somewhat comparable to DWM.

@@alphab91 yes or i rather have xmonad or ratpoison, but i don't see them in the packages, is there a command for searching packages on t2sde?
You can build them from source.
When i use the script to install tmux, i get "no package scheduled to build"?
That means tmux is installed, if not use -f to force it to reinstall tmux.

If a language is read from right to left, like Arabic or Hebrew, this patch will help with that. However, for languages that are normally read from left to right, it won't have any effect.

Same thing with any program that you installed using XBPS. To remove it, use the command: sudo xbps-remove -R brave.

I am on artix and tried successfully switching to other inits (dinit openrd runit work fine). For some reason I can't even boot with s6, s6-log spits out a permission denied error at creating directories in /var/log for the various services, at the very start. Any idea what might be the issue?
I also tried to add the user s6log to the root group but that didn't solve the issue 😭
@@mats4554 Check Service Directory Permissions.
@@alphab91 do you mean /etc/s6/sv? The error mentions the /var/log directory. I will try changing the owner to s6log, I have no clue other that that. Or I can try copying the original directory from a artix s6 fresh iso
@@alphab91 ok, after some tries I have solved it by changing the ownership to s6log of the directories and files that are are needed by s6 in the /var/log path. Weird how the installation of the s6 package doesn't fix ownership or at least gives a warning ⚠️. I thought I had to reinstall from scratch

Sorry, I tried to make it work, but I wasn't successful. However, I will keep trying. It took me two days to install Windows 10 on an external drive, and currently, I'm trying to get a Docker image to work.

@@alphab91 last time I had graphics on my desktop it was X11. (And quite possible it was in Linux compat mode) Was intentionally waiting for 14.1 to try WayLand and WayFire. Not tried yet compiling, going to try asap
i had vanilla picom installed before this, then i just did everything you did hoping that the new picom would replace the old one. i dont know if it worked, but the animations didnt work
You should remove the vanilla picom first, then build and install the new one. If you have any other issues or questions, ask me on Discord.

Hello! When i do ytfzf -D and it shows the same (error: no search query) but when i put cd dmenu/ it says the the directory doesnt exist, hiw can i do?
Previously, this worked fine. I've tried it again recently, and it doesn't work with dmenu anymore, but it does work with rofi.
