They sell a complete kit where you change out the rotors, brake pads, calipers. Pretty much a complete front swap but it’s probably not necessary. If you just change out the rotors and the brake pads it’ll probably have the same effect considering that the calipers are about the same size as the OEM.

That merge collector is definitely more work and precision since the shape is this complicated vortex shape. GEN II was more bends less pie cuts but again the cost is also on doing R&D

@@ModinJapan it’s headers bro…. Nothing new under the sun. Folk can go on and on for marketing purposes but it’s still headers that you guys yourself ain’t even welded out. Less in house welding but increase cost don’t go well together. No worries though I reside in a Porsche community we’ve been getting ripped off for years. Just odd to see it in other places.

NOVEL is about new and innovation. Price point isn’t always everything and designs take time and energy to do. You may not see it as innovation since doesn’t seem like a big leap forward, but they are trying to move the needle forward. If it’s HP per dollar then buy the cheapest unequal length manifold you can find, but not everyone is looking for that and that’s ok. Handmade Japanese stuff is not for everyone nor is the cost, but it’s the sound people are after and while we’ve been back ordered on this manifold ever since we started carrying the brand. Driver and builder experience is different for everyone and their value proposition is too. Been in the Porsche world too and not everyone is willing to pay for pie cut titanium exhausts and magnesium mono-lug wheels with air jack systems but still cool if you have the budget.

Sound will be identical to Gen 1,2 and 3 only difference is there’s a higher efficiency in flow rate from so it’s same sound just slightly louder volume

Catback no change since day one it’s just a change in the manifold itself where they had some optimizations.

Honestly ones from Amazon they hold up just fine and having a combination lock makes it easier. If someone really want to steal it no lock will prevent them is the way I look at it.

Definitely not no exhaust manifold will be smog legal in California including the PPE one with the cat on it.

We have been using this radar detector every single day since SEMA 2023 and zero issues, only thing was I accidently hit the brightness button one and it went dark mode and all I had to do was hit that button and it came back. It’s more of a sound over power proposition because from a cost perspective unequal will always be more cost effective per HP so just depends what you want

That movie is a classic I was a kid when that came out when I seen that in your video remember the movie at the end when he went out to the garage and it was sitting in the garage that was the best looking truck back in The 80s My uncle is a The Toyota guy he still has his 1987 Toyota forerunner SR5 5 Speed in his garage he has the white with the grey decals every one loved that truck when I was a kid he had rims and Tires on there it’s still in good shape it’s bin in his garage I would love to get that from him if he ever would let it go

2025 will be last MY for 2UR GSE engine. in 2026 GT3 RCF successor will be coming with Twin Turbo V8, and the LC 500 will be replaced by a newer hybrid coupe. RC F, IS 500 will be discontinued. Get it in 2025 would be my advice. Currently the IS 500 has bumper sag, I'm an owner of the IS 500 the car is superb but it cannot compete with RC F in any way due to chassis enhancements in the RC F vs none for IS 500, sure its as fast but the F line tuning is different. I'd recommend try getting RC F, because Lexus wont fix the bumper sag on the IS 500.

I hope they stop making the IS 500 this year so I can say I got one of the last model just like my Yamaha R6 motorcycle. I bought my R6 for 9k now its worth 13-14k .
