Im finding your videos interesting. My daughter is 28 now, but she went to Oatlands Public School. There were alot of brethren children there. One told her thay she is going to hell because she doesn't wear a skirt over her shorts lol. She had a little friend called Carolyn who secretly told her that she would like to run away and go to her church (non-denominational). I sooo wish that i gave this little girl our number before we moved to Cairns. I probably could have rescued her. Shes probably in a miserable marriage now with a dozen kids.

I grew up watching one current affairs show after another exposing the way the Brethren destroy families and there was a deep dive into their infiltration of John Howard’s sphere of influence. Clamping down on financial crimes, ensuring rights and education of women a very close oversight of their schools (if they are allowed to continue) may be the most effective way to chip away at the cult.

I don't know if it's different from state to state in Australia but I'm over in Perth WA and I work for Brethrens and the guy there was talking about his kids opening presents and also doing an Easter egg hunt for his kids on Easter. His kids go to a private public school and his older daughter and his wife don't wear a head covering. His older daughter also wears clothes like really tiny shorts that are high up her legs as well as tight fitting shirts. Not all the time but she has worn clothes like that before. I don't know what's going on there or if certain families are "lukewarm" compared to other families or if it's just more tamer over here in WA. They seem a little bit more normal over here compared to what I hear about Brethrens in other states in Australia.

I worked for an EB company in the UK for many years. I made lots of friends on an individual level, but we all knew there were lines that THEY (not me lol) couldn’t cross, and we all knew they got paid loads more than I did. Being a rather vocal atheist, I’d often engage them in lively conversations about various religious topics and they had no idea what to do or how to respond. Often, I was the only dissenting voice they’d ever encountered. But, we were friends and I knew I could push the boundaries and hopefully provoke them to ask questions of themselves. I had a few run ins with the higher ups, but never felt that my position was in jeopardy. But I’m a bloke and I was good at making them money, and I didn’t experience the misogyny firsthand although I saw it regularly. But the arrogance was there, even though they tried to hide it. I still miss that job snd still consider my former colleagues victims more than perpetrators.

I was never in but when out and about I used to see Brethren I am probably closely related to - all the family have fairly similar appearance. My Mum, cousin and I for example look like sisters - there’s no mistaking those genes. I think most of our family connections have been moved out of Sydney now though because I don’t see many around nowadays.

Are the smaller PBCC ‘meeting houses’ (tiny buildings) still used? There are four in my town but I’ve never seen anyone near them.

I worked for an EB company in the UK from 1989 to 2018 and made many genuine friends among their ranks. It saddens me how such decent people can be so brainwashed, in fact to the extent that’s they carry out such socially evil acts which they know they shouldn’t and needn’t do. I'm wondering how, here in Scotland, the Brethren are going to deal with the death of a one year old girl who was killed in the car park of a meeting hall when a member of the cult ran her over in his Land Rover. What will their attitude be? Will they say it was God's will? That she was called to do his work? That her parents deserved it?
