    I'm surprised that here in Perthshire, Scotland the PB population haven't got six fingers and toes because their gene pool is very limited. My neighbour married a girl from Kirkcaldy; the last sister out of three, and it's clear he drew the short straw.

    I was never in but when out and about I used to see Brethren I am probably closely related to - all the family have fairly similar appearance. My Mum, cousin and I for example look like sisters - there’s no mistaking those genes. I think most of our family connections have been moved out of Sydney now though because I don’t see many around nowadays.

    Ah yes. Limited gene pool means higher incidents of mild disabilities like ADHD and others which will increase with time because of inbreeding.
    It's also seen in other closed cultures and where cousin after cousin have married each other for successive generations.

      Which part? The part where they don’t recruit or the part where the gene pool is limited because they don’t recruit? 🤦🏻‍♂️
