Yes, there is a lot of focus on weight savings here. Personally I would prefer a dropper - I can't get used to a fixed seat post any longer.

I've tested the Strive, the Orbea Wild and the new Merida eONE-SIXTY in both size M and L. They all work with size M. I'm quite torn between which size I want. Stability or nimbleness - the eternal question...

​@@vladstoica1946yep, I might run some mudguards now too because keeping the water and mud spray off tires out of your face makes a huge difference, especially right after rain when it's still wet. Your glasses will be dry and everything is more visible!

@@MTBs I love this mask. Had a spark, a mini1 and tellos. Converted all my drones into fpv. I'm not teally into acro, so no need for "real" fpv, this set does a great job. My spark flew approx 120 km, the mini 220 km and the tellos 77km withot a single crash. I use this mask for simulator too. I think the neo comes without goggles. I'm interested too. 😍 Mini avata.

No, the motor pulls all the way to the speed limit. But it's more about cadence than the actual speed. These low powered motors are more about top end power than low end grunt.

@@MTBs awesome, thank you! I’m looking at getting one for commuting. I need to keep a 19-21mph (31-33kmh) average on dirt tracks to make it worth it. On a comparable trail bike I can average about 12-14mph (19-22.5 kmh) over the first 5 miles of climbing and flats. Bumping that up significantly would be nice.

That's one expensive commuter bike! : ) Out of curiosity, do you live in the US? In that case you have a higher speed limit of the motor and then I can see such a high average speed possible.

@@MTBs yes, in the US. I agree the price is high, though it’s been cut a lot recently. There are no bike paths where I am commuting so the alternative is the side of the highway. I’ve had too many close calls to keep riding there. Feeling the breeze off a Prius bumper as it went past my knee was enough of that.

No, I don't think it's a great idea. The HT angle will increase which also affects the stability negatively. If it's more front tyre pressure you are after I think you are better off removing spacers (if there are any) or getting a slightly longer stem which also will help with stability. That's also cheap changes which doesn't hurt as much if it doesn't work out.

@@MTBs true, but my point was on reliabilty for accurate footage. still, second hande drone are available. Don't get me wrong, I'm abot to buy one for myself, I need something small and lightweight, my mavic 2 pro is way to big and heavy to carry sometimes

I’m thinking that when/if DJI enters this market segment, we will see some interesting stuff. Right now Zerozero robotics owns this market and maybe a bit of competition can be healthy.

Canyon has a rating system which indicates where the bike can be used. I think the Neuron is category 3 and if you ride it in bike parks maybe that can void the warranty. With that said, I thought the bike was ok on red trails in moderate speeds. Blue trails - absolutely no problem.

@@MTBs what do you think of the new Orbea Occam sl against the Neuron. Or you have an other good suggestion of a good do it all trailbike.

@@ivostarmans1199 I did a quick spin on the Occam, I think it was the long travel version. Very nice bike too. But I would say the Neuron is very allround. The beefier bike, the more boring it gets on the flats. It's always a compromise.

I think testing the factory setting is a must, but I have also ridden this bike with other settings too. I still think it's a weak motor.

Atm there is only the old Epic HT still being sold. And Specialized's representative said that there will be no new model of the Epic HT. Don't know anything else about that matter.

@@MTBs I've had a quick look around today and not noticed any new specialized models . I did go onto Trek website today and they have a new 2024 procaliber 8 aluminium with 120mm fork which looks very appealing for a multiday road trail bikepack bike , that looks very attempting , though sounds like i should wait a bit for next round of specialized to come out 🙂 thanks

The 2024 Chisel is now a lightweight FS bike. I haven't seen it in the flesh, but it's like a budget version of the Epic I recon. The upcoming Fuse will probably be very costly once it is launched, but there might be good deals on the current Fuse because of the new model.

Don't know. Guessing around 10-15 times in total.

This was filmed like 4 years ago so I don't remember really, but this bike wouldn't have worked without any assist. The output is different in different markets, but in Europe it's 250W continous power. If it's not too steep the bike works, but it is a cruiser and not a race bike. It's geared pretty low.

Depends on where you will ride. For asphalt/gravel/fire roads- Vado. For more demanding trails - the full susp Tero, which really is a MTB, is better suited.
