I have installed cast manifold on my Evoque 4 years ago and it worked fine, but found today that it also did crack at some point right in the middle. I wonder how this could have happened.

Hi there, I’m planning to buy a 2011 335i with N55 engine. There is a little wastegate rattle on the cold start that goes away but I’d personally fix it if I buy the car. What are my options? Will I have to replace the entire turbo assembly or can it be repaired?

Hello sir, is it normal for smoke to come from the edge of the bronze bushing of Westgate when first started in the mornings on cold days. A white smoke comes for about 5 seconds, like cigarette smoke, then it stops.

Where can I find a replacement turbo for a 2012 Evoque? I see them cheap online but I'm not sure they will work. Hate to put in something that work work and have to pull back out :(

My brother is stuck with this problem. What kind of engineers design so poorly, the original manifold? Its a very poor design.

Swapping the turbo over isn't really a 'repair' like the title suggests. Maybe do a video of actually repairing the wastegate. That would be good.

Was looking at getting this soon but when I checked the website I saw that this is discontinued and replaced by the super20g.... crossing my fingers that you guys will come out with a video explaining the super20g like you guys did on this video

You really didnt need to do all that- you can pull both driver and passenger inner fender wells, remove both driver and passenger sway bar end links, disconnect passenger outer tie rod, remove bottom strut pinch bolt- this gives you just enough room to get the turbo to come out the passenger fender well.

I didn't realize you said it had a 3076 wheel the first time I watched this. That isn't an FP3065 if that's true, it's an FP3052. The FP3065 is GT3082R with the FP30 housing, it has a bigger compressor wheel.
