I hear it a lot more now that I put on my ark exhaust and ams lower down pipe. Starting to make me think bout how much this repair is or will it not matter
@@BananerRepublic turbos still good, just rather build them better with a custom rebuild kit with better seals,bearings, maybe CHRA’s if needed. I could get hybrids like every other VR30 owner tho or, be different and try and chase stock turbo records with a aggressive tune.
@@2seep I don’t want to sacrifice my low end spool and have to brake boost to really move out, rather do this and wait on AMS tbh. Also, not really I think it’s the other way around, 1/4 only 10.55 on the street for the Q platform with 90lbs (Not a lot at all ) weight reduction on awd not even rwd with weight reduction. DA helped ALOT with that record too I highly doubt they were pushing 19-23psi on OEM turbos. Granted, B&C broke it in Miami DA and weather and ran 10.58 with just A2A,E,Exhaust, and just prep. So the A2A proves and dispels all the backlash on it imo but I’d probably still go with the HBP or SOHO (if they drop it soon enough) kit. It’s definitely more than possible.

The sound will only get worst with time unfortunately.
Damn, would an Infiniti dealership be able to repair? Or would a common shop or other dealership be able to help. Does a tune help with the sound?
Do you know how many vr30s you just saved ? Godsend
too bad its gonna cost you 3k in labor just to pull the engine.... far better off replacing turbos with aftermarkets

@@TankQ50or upgrade to z1 turbos and get 750whp. So many people chase stock turbo records, the ceiling is way too high now

Is this why my car rattles like crazy for the first 5 seconds on a cold start?
Yes absolutely. This is the first sign that the bushings are getting worn out. After a while it will most likely cause you to have boost issues.
. Does your kit/repair solve the rattle problem, or will it start again in due time?
What year are those turbos? Is that the first version or the second version?
