chunks like that would be stopped by the mesh on the pick up tho right ? hope its just casting could also be one of the threads from the top of the drain hole if you say youve stripped it before.

Free-handing small repair sections while operating the finger sander with the other hand - been there, done a whole lot of that! It may not be the route you want to go, but Maier Racing do fibreglass fenders with different amounts of flare already moulded into them. Their site as some pics of them fitted to a white car. They're not cheap, though.

The LA scenes were definitely nostalgic, as I lived and grew up there for 9 years, got into the car scene there and just a cool trip down memory lane! Also lived in Portland Oregon for 1.5 years and all these scenes and highways are definitely memorable! Thanks for the road trip…love this film, or video or blog but this amazing film!
