Middle grade can be very good. Sometimes I actually think it's Better than Adult novels . Depending on the middle grade novel , they are also better written than YA.

I just finished reading Harris Tweed (I think it was renamed Ranish Tweed ?) by Peter May yesterday, such an amazing book, and the plot twist be twisting! The Silent Patient is one of my all-time favorite books. I did not figure out the twist. I closed the book and said Wow at the end. I am glad you loved it too. I can't wait for your 24 hour reading vlog!

Carrie honestly wasn’t even scary…just weird in my opinion. I’ve never read the book though. I can’t imagine it being too different from the movie. If you’re scared, watch the movie first…the book will be far more detailed and expressive, as books usually are when compared to the visual adaptations, and then go back to the book to fill in the details that were left out.

It is the month of October spooky season. Those thriller/horror books are begging to be read.

I love your TBR for October. I have read Hidden Pictures, to me it was not scary, the pictures added an extra element to the story but it is more like a suspenseful thriller than horror. I think someone mislabeled the genre on this one but I enjoyed it. I look forward to seeing your October vlogs.

I could never blindly pick my tbr in fear of just getting the same genre every time 😂 I absolutely love Carrie and I’m fully wishing I still had it on my shelves! It’s not that scary and more just dark and twisty, so you should be A ok reading it! ❤
