dark matter - this one hits quite hard but it's also super fast paced and easy to read despite being sci-fi (honestly it doesn't even feel like sci-fi most of the time). the ending especially made me so emotional 🥺
daisy darker - thriller with literary fiction elements that i think you would enjoy. the plot twist at the end was crazy and made me want to reread the whole book immediately lol
CARAVAL!!! I am a Stephanie Garber stan so I beg you enter the Stephanie Garber world! Such good whimsical fantasy vibes, and I recommend bingeing the series and then reading the OUABH series too!
I highly recommend the audiobook for Daisy Jones & The Six! The book is written in a documentary/interview style and for the audiobook there’s a different voice actor for each character, so it really feels like your listening to an actual interview or like podcast about a band
Please read Six of Crows!! That and Crooked Kingdom are my favorite books ever! Every character is so memorable and lovable. I read the book sometime late 2023 and it still lives in my head rent free lol
I'm not entirely sure what you like apart from romance, but if you like to get into the psychology and minds of characters I think you'll enjoy Six of Crows! The characters are so well written and you get really invested in their growth and development (also, the heist in the book is awesome) ❤
Remarkably Bright Creatures! This is one of my favourite books of all time, took a bit to get into so give it a proper chance but omg you learn to really appreciate the characters that you start off hating and I highly recommend the audio book if you want to hear the octopus's perspective narrated by a sassy old British man (yes the octopus narrates), because that was the highlight on my year.
Where the crawdads sing is my favourite book of all time. I read it so fast, and then instantly bought and watched the movie because I couldn't get enough. Absolutely give it a go!
Babel starts quite dense but I thought the payoff was amazing and loved it! You can also read it without the footnotes if they get in the way too much.
Daisy Darker a great book with good twist at the end...,i also love Lisa Jewell, but have been reading Alice Feeney too recently and enjoying her books.
