Well done on the videos. How many times have I watched a blender video that moves forward at a light speed pace. Impossible to follow even when you slow it down. Your cadence is excellent as well as your teaching style. I come from Cad and have been pretty deep down the rabbit hole with Blender. No matter how deep I go I wish for the the sketching tools and constraints that you have laid out here and that is offered by Cad Sketcher. My problem is that I worry about the continued development of all these programs such as Cad Sketcher, Cad Transform and Construction Lines. Where are we at with Cad Sketcher? My research seems to indicate that there hasn't been much progress in it in the last year. Does this rabbit hole have a dead end? Will it work in 4.2 and beyond?

I am in dire need of a cad sketcher walkthrough because someone at my company decided that the 3D stuff guy should also do the 3D printing, it's just more 3D stuff anyway right? 🥹 Glad I found this channel.

Honestly, Blender is a waste of time. How this monstrosity of mishaps survived this long is a mystery (full of half baked addons and always 'in development' ) . I used it for years, left and went on to use proper programs designed to do the job right that dont try blending everything down to an undigestable soup. The only guarrantee u get from blender is a backward path to neurosis.

Nice, tutorials! When performing a Boolean Union, there's no need to add a Boolean Cut afterward. Simply hide the objects properly and uncheck the render button to prevent the hole from closing during rendering.

Is there a way to offset shapes of a sketch? I want to make cookie and clay cutters and i would like to offset shapes and then extrude them.

Hi, a suggestion to explore long-term: Workflow for efficiently modeling a practical vehicle suspension geometry for performing wheel alignment using real-time data inputs. The reasoning is that 3D Scanning hardware is becoming affordable and the "string" method (tying a string adjacent to the vehicle wheels) could use a technological update. See the video from Superfast Matt recently about this; it sounds to me like this is possible already with existing tools?

how to set radius of circle to specific value?

Hi, I'm struggling with the mirrored cylinder. After I create the hole - things are not perfectly centered. The hole goes through - but there is a very small portion visible of the outside cylinder when I zoom in. I even did it manually , recreated the second cylinder added a second hole - the result is the same. Working planes are set correctly, their center are ok and I haven't got any more ideas to check what went wrong. Cheers.

you only had 1 sketch. if you went back to the sketch to modify the radius you would be starting from scratch basically. is there a better way?

Hmm, the lines are soo thin they're almost invisible and scale entities seems to have effect only on the points size, not lines - anyone else has the same problem? (Blender 4.0.2, Cad sketcher 0.27.3)

2:55 so you set the Unit Scale to 0.001 because mm is 1/1000 of a meter? So kilometer would be a Unit Scale of 1000!?

When I install it on blender 3.6, I cannot enable it in the addons, the (!) does not show any info, and I cannot see the details in the menu you can see at 1:46. There is no button to install the dependency. I don't know what a PIP is and the documentation does not explain. I have an issue when I add the new workspace on the revolveprofile, blender shows orange lines after add the workplane. I only toggle on x-ray mode,but it still show those wireframe lines
