I would definitely use iroshizuku bamboo forest ink with this pen

I got one, and this is the review I published: Surprise! I didn't think Sailor was capable of making junk. This is junk in its purest form. Money down the drain. It's tiny, insubstantial and the nib is hard to remove and replace. It barely holds any ink, and the transfer to paper is haphazard at best. With a 2mm nib, I should be able to make a good, solid line; this is not possible. The nib is loose in the holder. The metal in the nib looks like something formed in a high-school freshman shop class when the teacher wasn't looking. I can't speak for performance of the other nib sizes, but this one is headed to a landfill where it belongs.

L'Artisan Pastellier Encre Classique's "‌Gris de Payne" is similar to "Vert de Gris" but I think it's more blue. Maybe you'll like that more? I couldn't find part 1 of these two videos. 🤔 I just love Edwards Gardens so I didn't hesitate getting a bottle. 🥰😍 Love blue-green colours from emerald to teal, turquoise and aqua. 😇🩷🙏🙌

I recently purchased a large bottle of this ink. I'm really glad that you said that your pen struggled a bit. My pens struggled a bit with flow consistqncy issues due to the amount of glitter, though it does look very pretty 90% of the time. The big trick I've found is to use it with my monteverde Innova stub nib because that dumps ink on the page compared to my fine nibs.

I’m late to the party here, but am loving Celadon Cat! As a cat lover I’m surprised that I missed this one! It’s a gorgeous color and I just ordered the 80 ml bottle. I also love Wearingeul “I am Cat” bought because of the name, but a very interesting and gorgeous ink!

FWP Fluttering Heart led me to pass, since pink is hard for me to use up. Luckily, I got the silver carriage on FPD, and Blue Crystal Legacy ink on Black Friday. Blue is my color, and goes well with ny FWP Stroke of Midnight.

Ink Miser to save the day, just pipette it in their standup inkwell, and you will be ok. Pipe it back in the charger after use.

I just tried this ink and had to look online to see what others thought of it. Because I’m pretty impressed. It dries really quickly for a sheening ink and while not a shading ink, the light shimmer creates a soft depth that looks beautiful on paper.

Since you mentioned this, why weren’t you allowed to read Harry Potter ? Just curious since I came from a “read everything in the library” household. We did not read HP either- not because it was disallowed : we were strongly encouraged to read the classics. I must say, it did wonders for my vocabulary! Excellent ink haul : Mandarin is fabulous !

thanks for trying out the ink in a FP. Swatches and dip pens are fine, but as a FP user, how it handles or causes problems in a pen is the most important.

The packaging is really attractive. But I think I'll pass. I have several orange inks that come close enough for me. And I'm not a fan of ink barnacles. I'm curious about what Kuretake's Kujakuryoku and Kroshizuku's Kujaku look like side-by-side. And a comparison of Ebicha next to Herbin's Lie de The or Cafe des Iles and Iroshizuku Tsukushi. Just subscribed.

Tsukushi was my favorite brown ink. Such a shame.

My first gold nib and couldn’t be happier

Interesting, the Vert de Gris you sampled doesn't look like Vert de Gris. The sample you have looks more blue than turquoise/teal. Could just be the way the colors are showing on my monitor but if not that's unfortunate. It is one of my favorite inks. Can't get enough of it.

FWP The fluttering Heart looks nice on with its packaging, but sadly its has a lighter pinkish brown texture. I wanted to purchase my very first FWP inks to broaden up my collection, but it will have to wait for now. Currently, I am using Colorverse inks which exceed my expectations. My personal favorite is the Ginkgo Tree (59) and Golden Leaves (60)

That pennonia color reminds me of Cult Pens x Diamine's Caribbean Green

Hi! I only own a bottle of Celadon Cat and I really enjoy this ink, even in a F nib! It may be quite pale by moments, but it has such lovely shading that it doesn't bother me if it's pale. Didn't try Sailor's warning yet, the color don't appeal to me enough for me to buy either a sample or a full bottle.

Love the name, and it makes sense this would be a red ink…very pretty….but I wish it was another color, something more usable for every day.

Just found your channel and I've been happily watching my way through all your old videos :) I just wanted to mention though that the Yurameku 2 series definitely have zero shimmer in them; I have full bottles of all five, and they're generous on the sheen but no shimmer at all.

Thanks for the informative video. Seems to me that kujaku-roku is screaming out to be compared to Pilot’s kujaku ink. Would you say they are similar?

Wow it looks totally different than the swatch from Goulet pen and atlas stationers. They look more pink purple and a lot more saturated, but your swatch feels a lot more pretty. Thank you.

My favourites are Vert de Gris and Citrus Black. I found that they make for a very nice combo
