Absolutely gorgeous

SW has long been an odd thing to me. Myself and another four vet gamers similar to me (been gaming since the mid 80s) tried it around about 2005. Actions were, of course, nigh zero issue. Combat became a huge problem that five veteran gamers absolutely couldn’t parse! Every combat, nearly every combatant would inevitably be ‘shaken’ and nearly none could escape from it without spending bennies leading all of us, like D&D3E to “laugh it off the table”. Being a super rules lite guy/GM, interested in a solid rules-medium game, I’ve often tried to come back to it, but I’ve never been able to, via tests, get away from the insanity of’ shaken’…..like… ever! I/we just went back to games that actually really ARE fast, furious and fun like original D&D, B/X D&D, Tunnels & Trolls, RISUS, Fighting Fantasy clones, etc like Spellzard! , and many, many others…. I’ve stubbornly hung on imagining one day I can finally make sense of it somehow, and despite not being a dummy……I still cannot! “Shaken” seems a nigh-perpetual state no matter what I try alone as an experiment! Also, it certainly ought not always, nor most of the time require bennies to exit!…. Bizarre! Bizarre, confusing and highly irritating! If a SW fan cannot finally, after 20 d*** years, show me “how easy it is” in a few sentences or a couple of minutes, I’m gonna havta finally cut ties for good! Haha!

cool idea. i would make her into a sorcerer who batteld the deep dark sea and started to change by consuming other things - but on the way she started to forget who and what she was. her saviour was a mer-folk who she became inloved with cos of his singing and she started to re-remember her past identity and to eat only normal animals so she will not forget herself again. today she is defender of cost villages and merfolk one problem of her is - that her obsession of eating big bad biden go away so... she cant go and help the pc with all the monters in the sea

Can't wait to use this when the new book comes out, I want to make a circle of the sea druid!
