Hi man !! I need your HELP with GT4 !!!! I play from USB (On real PS2, but that's no problem), and FMV shutters, that's fine, but I use GT4FS to extract .VOL from GT4 and edit .PSS (downgrade for proper play from USB 1.1), my GT4 version is SCUS-97328, aaaand when GT4FS extract ALL, in extracted folder I see that MPEG folder with ALL Media that I need is ABSEND !!! Sooo if you know where is MEDIA in SCUS-97328, please tell me, appreciate your work. Thanks !!

If AWD conversions are going to be an upgrade option in this mod, have you ever considered 2WD conversions for cars that are naturally AWD/4WD? I think that could be a fun to experiment with.

How much HP can you put on CAR!? What car has 2500hp???????? Try puting 5000hp (or 10000) on the TVR Cerbera speed 12 or Mercedes Benz CLR GTR?

The retuned shifting is pretty neat, but I quite like the "granny shifting" personally, probably meant to simulate rev matching or something. Especially since in GT5 and GT6 (and I think Sport and 7 as well), regardless of transmission the shifting is basically instantaneous which never made sense to me.

I see a big debate about the understeer thing in Gt4. I ran across a solution from someone who is modding GT3: they opted to import GTPSP’s tire model into the game. From what my feeble mind understands it’s possible to do this with GTPSP and/or GTHD. Perhaps this would be preferable to trying to modify GT4’s to make it work (since after all you want some cars to understeer, some to oversteer etc. depending on their setup).

When i was a kid like 6 years old in romania there was a auto event. Very popular the i see that game with that specific simulator machine and i was so much to try to play but i was to kid to uitng this game as the steering wheel.

There is another version of Subaru Simulator based on GT4. PCPX-96643 Hopefully that gets dumped soon 🤞🤞

How did there is a game like this?!

I checked out this Lupo Demo Vol 1 and while it might have very good vehicles and their models, many new tracks were barely started in early 2003, so almost all new tracks (10-12 new tracks, known from Prius demo) are in very early pre-alpha stage. However, this Subaru demo have a one bonus course file called "kian-test", seems either like a pre-alpha circuit or something else. Might be worth checking out
