I had herniated disk and I only could go back to skating after surgery. Of course it was never the same again. Because of my back, I only can skate once a week, sometimes twice, but I can't go too crazy. Once in a while I do go crazy and end up havi to take a month break or even two moths. It's been more than months since last time I skated. Unfortunately getting old is making my recovery time longer than it used to be. But it's all good. Just the fact that I still skating is a miracle. Like you said, we git to do it in our terms cuz we are the only ones who know what's best for us. Where are you from, bro?

Hey man, thanks for checking out my videos and for this great question. I also love big gaps, high airs, and spins. I stopped doing them a while ago. Once in a while, I do one or two, but no more than that. The reason is that I had back surgery and I wasn't even supposed to keep skating. It is actually a sort of miracle that I am still able to skate. For instance, I did a sweatstance to 360 out on a drop rail in my last video and due to that trick, I haven't had a skate session for almost three weeks. So, I don't do big gaps and high jumps due to a herniated disk.

@@EugeneDiniz I have 4 pairs of skates. I have a pair of customized razors cults, razors Andrew broom pro shift skates, Iqon carbon AG 10 skates and Gawds pro tim franken skates. But at the exact moment I'm skating the razors custom cults. And in my skates I use the myfit prime liners. I use Gawds pro wheels and ground control feather light 4 frames and the Iqon AG60 C frames along with AG 60 regular frames. I love gear!! It's fun to collect but it'll put me in the poor house!! But without my myfit prime liners I'd be miserable. Love em! Thankyou for asking and chatting. Be well good sir.

@@EugeneDiniz check out the 94 skate video called the bottom line it's on TH-cam. I used to own the VHS tape of it when I worked in a snow board and skate shop back then. I miss those days soooo much. Just pure fun.

Same boat here. I started skating when I was a kid, and Eisenberg's in Plano Tx was my second home for years. I'm 35 now and just ordered a pair of Them 909s yesterday, and I can't wait to get them in and start skating again.
