Alpacas are shared: You cuddle and kiss; Then they break your heart Leaving for new lives. Alpacas are bittersweet. They give us so much; The fewer, the closer We can become. Think this out, when you want some. (Just like having kids).

Blue looks much smaller than Persa and Trufa! I am so glad he found a herd to hang around. He needed acceptance after being rejected by his mother.

Specially Trained 26 November 2024 Alpacas have to be Specially trained To play the part of pets. Wary of danger If you're a stranger Not even treats, hand-held, Entice them to come close. They keep their distance Not far but not too close, Approachable, yes, But unhuggable. When carefully taught They're the best of pets, Gentle, no rough edges, And ultra-fluffy. The problem for you Is who can train them? It is a special skill That few have mastered And even fewer sell. We look and adore But seldom can we touch, Like mythic unicorns (I still love them so much!).

We have not seen Trufa playing with Persa and Blue recently. Do the three still play together?

Play to Fight 21 November 2024 [alpaca machos] It's hard to believe: These little fuzzy creatures Make such awful noise. What started is fun Becomes such aggression Even to the death. So cute and cuddly, They have trouble in them That sometimes erupts.

I hope they have been defanged. Fighting teeth are bad news and someone may wind up a wether.

I don’t know if Onyx was playing or proving to Nitos that he was the boss. Then Pacha stepped in because he felt that he was the boss, and Onyx fought back. To me, it’s obvious that Pacha won because Onyx was running from him at the end. Nobody wanted to mess with Pacha!

I can’t picture Nitos in a 1v1 with anyone, especially not against Onyx. However, I am curious about what would happen in a fight. Would Bruno step in to defend him? Last time, when Onyx was chasing Bruno, Nitos stood in the way. After all, Bruno and Nitos are still good friends. After watching the fight, I think Nitos just dodged a bullet here.

Inequality 18 November 2024 Alpacas are creatures of Inequality Simply because They are so few in numbers Yet so desirable: Wondrous living souls. We all would want them But few can have them, At least in America [USA} They are so precious And therefore pricey. Great intrinsic worth, Gentle on the earth, Almost beasts of fantasy--- Will there be some for me? The news was talking of inequality as a world problem like global warming.

Blue looks like Aunt Jamaica.

Loss and Hope 13 November 2024 Dolly is no more Her energy has faded: I feel it no more. No more part of me, She has gone back into God With the other Girls. Someday, in Heaven We will meet again And will reunite. Now our soul is torn apart But I will go on; I will live on with hope And with my memories. They will always please.

Not all of them were kushed to ruminate. There were a couple standing up. Someone has to watch out.

Love to watch your beautiful alpacas. I feel like I know them all 😊

Daily Horror 10 November 2024 Pacas can be gross. Cosette choked and puked on Persa, All over her back. Persa can be sweet But who would touch her right now? Shame on you, Cosete, You and your gluttony!

I guess they don’t always vomit up their food….why do they eat too fast, sometimes? Blue is so cute! I’m sure Persa and Trufa are too, but Blue looks at you with adoring eyes. Thanks for sharing a moment in your life!

November Notes 10 November 2024 November is warm But thecats are all fluffy, Ready for winter. We had a long drought. Now the leaves are falling Without much color. How does God perceive The souls and minds of animals? Their reasoning is not as great But their sensory perception Far exceeds our own. Perception is wisdom, too, And wisdom is truth. They cannot speak as we do, {Camelids are just learning) But they can communicate To each oher--and to God. God calls them, "very good", Just like us, or more.

Overrun 7 November 2024 God damn city folks! I keep my gates locked tight; Still they get in, To bother my herd. I do not welcome tourists. I'm not an attraction. Don't get me started. I get mad. Respect my boundaries. Respect my animals too. We're no petting zoo. I'll build my fences And walls, to keep them out. Know I mean business, no doubt.

At the Holidays She preached the falsehood Of the Christmas Story. That is something Even the Grinch did not do When stealing Christmas. I this happy time People avoided her. She was not merry. Betsy loved donkeys. I wrote donkey poetry For her magazine. Once in hot August I was inspired to write The Christmas story See through the person Of the donkey who took part. She said it made her cry. Was that the Spirit working In a hardened heart? The SPirit in a poem And I was a part?

Aloof April 2024 The girls are a llama and alpaca, now both lost. They step back from me And ever so politely Tell me to buzz off. I can take the hint, And though I idealize them, I go somewhere else. I love the girls so, Enough to respect their space; Maybe someday, touch; They will respect me then.
