Great Video. I am not surprised the rollers gave way off the winch. Because the winch cable is upside down on the drum. should be on the drum at the bottom not on top. and by the sounds of it you had the cable load very high. but I did not notice and restraint on the cable to guard against cable fly away. This is not criticism, just you might be unaware of these issues. That winch cable will kill you if it snaps under load and hits you. Same as using a snatch strap or chain, always have a blanket or somthing else over the middle part to deaden the load if the cable or strap snaps. Me, Oh 25 years Towie. Regards PW.

How were you keeping the underbody of your cars protected prior to this method?

All sounds very expensive. Good ol gurney and Lanolin works a treat. But it’s the ‘shine’ of the blasting and Igl that will have the influencers frothing.

Another great video, but a very sad one as well 😢 Our family has been in Dwellingup/Banksiadale/Holyoak since the very start of the Timber industry in the 1800's, and all of these areas are literally our back yard. We have grown up walking, riding, driving, paddling almost every square inch of these forests and hills since we were born, and is devastating to have witnessed the huge influx of people destroying the habitat and forcing mass road/reserve closures 😢 There's around 80% of our once unknown little haunts now permanently closed or been dug up and blocked off from any access whatsoever. I still get out along all the old trails on my mountain bike and camp out a few days or a week or two away from the thriving metropolis that it's become. I used to drive my kids out to Sandy Pool on the Fireline track on hot days after school so they could have a swim and cool down. The track used to be so small and overgrown, you had to do a 3 point turn just to get into the place, last time I was there before it was shut, there was a bloody TOYOTA Coaster bus in there and the area had been flattened beyond recognition, with rubbish and shit everywhere. Amazing that the locals can enjoy a place for over a century and look after it/keep it clean........ and now, in only a single decade, the large majority of it is all destroyed and closed off 😡

I will say if on the roof all this time engine is good 👍

Totally F’ed and not a usable part on this vehicle, so no salvage value Great recovery but how did it get into this position? Only 2 likely scenario’s; tried to drive down the dune face, where you can seen tyre tracks or high speed stupidity down the beach and hit the waves coming in or tried to turn way too sharp from the soft sand and way too fast. Total stupidity on both counts by idiot owners.

Great spots along there, mate rubbish getting left is happening everywhere, people don't give a fu.. and are shit, more and more videos where their picking up other people's crap, I'm over it, people are shit Paul

I went to do the fireline track in November and it was closed then as well. I wound up at Marrinup campsite. Next time if it happens again I'll head down Drivers Rd and check that spot out, it's a bit more secluded!
