Hey grace, I really want to get into tufts and I'm a sophmore at Revere High school. I am currently holding a 3.81 weighted gpa which im afraid is not high enough. I am currently int he middle of quater 3 right now (out of 4). I was wondering if I could get your contact info since I live in the Boston area and was hoping if you could guide me since it's honestly my dream to get into Tufts.

A lot of it also comes down to financial gains of the school. Early in the application cycle dental schools are more willing to take instate. Towards the end of the cycle they are only accepting out of state and international students as they can charge these folks 2x tuition. 😂

How I got into Tufts: I got in randomly and now im happy jk, I have a 3.8 and a 4.7, Am all American in track, am a Tutor, had good essays,1400+, visited, and talked to the coach Got in regular decision Basically I was a track athlete with recruit times & good academics especially for an athlete
I got into tufts because I’m all American in track and my essays were good. I only have a 3.8 (4.7 weighted) and a 1400. I also am a tutor. Just play your cards right.

My daughter also got into Tufts last year. But then they told us $80,000 please: no merit aid. We politely declined due to the likelihood of grad school to follow. Thank you nonetheless.

Hi Grace. Thank you so much for your vids. I am interested in applying to Tufts ED in hopes to get into its Early Medical Assurance Program in the junior. Are you familiar with that program? Is there grade deflation at Tufts? How hard is it to maintain a 3.9, 4.0 GPA? Are the intro science classes weeder classes? Thanks for your help.
Hi! yes I am, I went through it myself, if you have more questions about it, feel free to PM me on instagram. There isn't grade deflation at Tufts, luckily. It definitely is challenging to maintain a high GPA, but it's doable! The intro science classes can feel like weeder classes since they're so hard, but they're not trying to get you to quit premed, if that makes sense!

I heard about grade deflation, but as you said, thankfully there isn't any. This is sort of late, but I have some more questions. 1. How easy is it to get involved in research as soon as I step on campus? How competitive are the research opportunities? I assume there are opportunities like this outside of campus (for ex. in Boston?) 2. How easy is it to interact with opportunities like internships and volunteering in Boston? Do the majority of students stay on campus or off campus? Thanks!

Hi! Is the bio and engineering school is good? Also do the student gov/international relations people dominate the school or is it more STEM oriented? Also, does tufts give a northeastern prep school vibe? Thanks!
Hi Eri! The bio department is great, and I know the engineering school is good too. The school definitely has an intellectual vibe, but isn't dominated by either STEM or IR students. I wouldn't say that it's very preppy, but I can see why some people might say it is:) Hope this helps!

Were those your only AP classes. Trying to figure out the right balance between honors and AP. Do I take as many AP’s as possible or is there a risk with that - are they looking for the most strenuous transcript or just a high weighted?

Greek life is fraternities or sororities, sisterhood/brotherhood
