Sony XR-55A80J. Wi-Fi disconnects on and off and the worst part is the Ethernet connection port acknowledgement doesn’t work also.

It's the worst setting they have. Go to the bathroom, get a phone call, cook lunch, make a sandwich, everything takes longer than 10 minutes bc I have had this new sandbar disconnect bluetooth atleast 3 to 6 times a day, I was about to return it! You should also label this as stop Yamaha sound bar from loosing Bluetooth connection. I thought it was my fire stick going to sleep or screen saver, so I used adb debugging to use command line to edit the fire stick sleep time to 0 and turn off screen savee. That didn't work, so it had to be the sound bar. You are a life saver and yamaha has way too many issues. Atleast there is a refresh button in the app bc it never seems to have the correct level shown. Also for some reason the remote can always make it louder than the app even when I set it to full volume in the app. It's just a wierd app and sound bar with a lot of glitches.

Where’s the pairing button on this sound bar I can’t seem to pair it via Bluetooth to tv…

I am disconnecting cable and switching to indoor antenna. TV selection on settings menu is not available, only HDMI 1 and HDMI 2. Sony Bravia tv. how do I get the TV option on the menu

I have successfully installed the firmware on the YAS1080 soundbar and checked for any current updates on the Samsung TV and now once again, I cannot seem to make that ARC connection between the two-no matter what I do. I turn all the devices off, unplug them, disconnect the HDMI cables, etc etc, to no avail.

So we have a 3rd party mount and we just sawed off the extra bracket length at the bottom that overlapped over the access panel so you can access it when pulling it away from the wall. Works great.

Well, my Sony is doing just that but my talk back and c\screen reader are off. I have reset them unplugged the tv and started over and it just won't stop. quite annoying. thanks Kevin

I swapped the HDMI cable to a different port on the TV and the volume came back.....thx for the help...I avoided having to call provider...and didn't need to unplug power. Just moved hdmi to another port on tv.

I finally figured it out! It’s the damn objects near it and router that’s messing with the frequency and disabling the WiFi. I moved my big tv to the other room and it worked. And put my other small tv in the other room and it stopped working. Turns out you can’t have the router too close to the tv. So I put the router further away and it started working 🤦‍♂️ this was a stranger thing moment. This happened a year ago. Today my big tv stopped working WiFi disabling automatically. Turned out I placed my metal necklaces and a battery pack. I removed them from the table and it worked 🤦‍♂️ also I brought a. Bluetooth keyboard today and I think that’s what stopped it as well. It’s called frequency hopping.

If this works I will literally send you $5! GODSEND. I hate these moronic "Engineers" and "Programmers" but really their shitty supervisors who serve to only annoy the ever loving fuck out of the idiots (me) who buy their crap. They could have mentioned this IN THE MANUAL?! Nooooooooo. Waste of digital ink! You are a saint.

But if you use Alexa to turn on your TV it needs to be on the same network, so you'll have to change that also

Not a factory reset😮. I do the restart. And I will NEVER accepted Google privacy ESPECIALLY LOCATION. I'll just restart daily😅. This just started happening to me. Have had my TV for about 10 years and prior to recently, NEVER HAD A PROBLEM.

I'm looking for a different solution. My yamaha yas1080 sounbar loses its TV hdmi arc connection frequently. And to make matters worse, I have two of these set up with TVs in the house and both have the same problem.

where is the eject button on that remote? to eject the DVD?

Had to figure this out for a relative. It was driving them (and me) nuts. Not so much a problem for me but for them, an elderly person, it was a huge chore.

My Yamaha ATS-1090 I got from Costco is connected optical S/PDIF to my PC and my PC to my Sony TV via HDMI. It was doing the same thing for a long time. It was driving me crazy. I finally came across your video after doing a search on Google. Thank you so much!
