Based on the rollbar I'd say it was a 1980 - 1983 (in some cases a 1979). If you choose to repair the parts Jeep tub, there is a company, (Classic Enterprises, (USA made)) that makes excellent replacement body pieces.

Looks like your hood, front fenders and grill are salvageable, tub is obviously scrap. Go full-in and get a new tub, windshield frame, seats, complete new wiring kit, top, and you will have a very nice, sought after Jeep. If you put a 4.0L head, and engine wiring/computer on that 4.2L, it will surprise you how powerful/well it runs. Doing the entire 4.0L swap is another option of course (which is what I am just now finishing in my 1983 CJ5) but all you really need is the head/ wiring/computer. No point in giving up the larger displacement of the 4.2L.

I'm about to do a 4.7 stroker conversion, guess it'll be a titan now.

Thank you. I was about to buy the same head and definitely won't be doing that now because those issues are important to me too. We need to stand together against the big corporate companies that don't care about us.

Glad to see y'all back in the (Jeep) saddle. Ain't nuthin' wrong with a TJ. I believe they're only bettered by the LJ. Moss green? Makes it harder to hide in the winter. Kinda like a black Jeep in a snow storm. Tires? YES! They're like me, old, tired and waiting to take a leak. I'll give you a nod to the 2 inch and bigger tires. Just enough of a change to make it your own, without blowing the budget this early. Looking forward to a new year of content involving this Jeep becoming a narly rock crawling, road eating, river swimming monster. Or somewhere in between. When I did my 4.6L stroker a few years back, I first worked out what I wanted and then acquired all the parts over about 10 months or so prior to getting it built by a reputable engine builder. Doing it this way, I knew all the parts were quality and the it just came down to the engine builder doing a quality job. Price wise it cost me a little more because buying aaa quality parts is not cheap. I’ve had my 2005 TJ since buying it near new well over 15 years ago and it’s the one vehicle I will never sell.

These look exactly like the injectors I got from Injector Planet's eBay store (and paid a whole lot less for), which I also don't believe to be genuine "Bosch" parts (just like the ones in this video). There are also much better things to lube the O-rings with than petroleum based Vaseline.... Where is your heat shielding on the intake manifold...? 🤔

I went with rc4wd rhino 1.9 rims with rc4wd 4.19inch GoodYear tires.

Different setup on my 1999 Sahara 4.0. I have 4 bolts that mount it to the pump, fan clutch does not screw on.

I missed one by a day... I want one even more now! First 4wd or any car for that manner, I'd driven on my own was a cj2a 1947. The Tj is the best Jeep ever built with the 4.0l straight 6 manual. My dream vehicle...

If the plugs were loose from the factory, IT SHOULD SAY IN THE INSTRUCTIONS, DOUBLE CHECK THE PLUGS, THEY'RE LOOSE. You have every right to be pissed. I can't buy an engine from any of these companies because I don't trust other people's work. I do it myself because if it's F'd up, only person I can blame is me.

Hey nice truck, game across your video I have a nineteen eighty seven ford f150 four wheel drive. Looking to rotate the tires. Sorry for the stupid question, but Am I able to just remove the front tires and swap them out, With the rears, I'm just not sure how to pull the front tires off with the locking differential hub on there.

Exacly, in jeep the color is blue, no red, no black, no white, no green, no pink, the one color ocean blue metalic. Nice video.
