And the knives that have holes in the blades keep those... most of the ones with the plastic handles are complete garbage the steel is junk. If you tap on the handle scales with your fingernail and it sounds Hollow if it sounds like it's solid or thicker keep those might be fiberglass reinforced which are pretty decent handles. An FYI they all have names

Thanks for the video. As you know, the NRA represents constitutional values for gun rights. As an organization it does not take a stand on global trade or manufacturing. On the other hand, I would say a large number of “made in the USA” promoters are also involved with the NRA. That would not be hypocricy on the NRA. Maybe it’s members but not the NRA. The CRKT knife with Ruger on it has veff serrations. That style of serrations was invented by Tom Veff in 2004. He licensed the style to CRKT in 2006 and makes a little money with each knife sold with them. Tom Is a great guy and he has a knife sharpening service in the back shop at his home in Oregon City, Oregon. Tom is very knowledgeable about the various knife steels but he prefers the old standards for holding an edge.

That Cabela's knife is a Kershaw. It's like 15 bucks brand new when it is not Cabela's Branded. I bought a lot of 5 of them on ebay new for 50 with the Cabela's branding and packaging.
