I bought a Kershaw blade on sale at Walmart for nine ducats back in 1378 in Vienna, I haven’t had to sharpen it, clean it, or anything during those 650 years of use. It still looks brand new and cuts through diamonds like butter. It is a great blade, takes out a pegasus in one slash, and a wyvern in three. Can’t say I’m disappointed.
,,there aren’t many Chinese manufacturers who make such good knives“ Civivi, cjrb, qsp, kizer, Twosun, ch, Reate, artisan, we knife, ruike, rike, petrified fish, kansept, ganzo, Bestech, steel will. All of these are Chinese manufacturers, and all of them are way superior to kershaw in pricing, fit and finish, materials, build quality and quality control
That Cabela's knife is a Kershaw. It's like 15 bucks brand new when it is not Cabela's Branded. I bought a lot of 5 of them on ebay new for 50 with the Cabela's branding and packaging.
Great vid, kershaw is one of my more preferred knife brands so this video was fun for me because i got to recognize some of the knives that i own personally.
You could send the kershaw with the broken blade back to kershaw for free repair. And I love those leeks. I used to have one, I wished I hadn't gotten rid of it. I don't know if you still have any to sell considering this video is 2 years old.
And the knives that have holes in the blades keep those... most of the ones with the plastic handles are complete garbage the steel is junk. If you tap on the handle scales with your fingernail and it sounds Hollow if it sounds like it's solid or thicker keep those might be fiberglass reinforced which are pretty decent handles. An FYI they all have names
The knife towards the end is a key-chain knife by Kershaw. I've had one for almost a decade that I use to open boxes at work. It's been to Hawaii and Disneyland with me. I always forget it's on my keys and they haven't found it yet!
A lot of Kershaws have the made in USA and date made way down on the blade. Can't see it when it's open, only when its half way open. And yeah, that first one you didn't think was Kershaw is, called the Skyline. 10 dollar Wal-Mart special
Ah. Apparently the TSA people are more knowledgeable than I am. Haha thanks! The best part about making these videos is being able to learn from knowledgeable people like you.
@@Hoardster the 1776 Kershaw Link in black wash was a Walmart exclusive same for the blur in olive CRKT also has a few Walmart exclusive knives. In the Kershaw knives in combo/ holiday packs they tend to use nylon washers versus bronze. It's the price you pay for the price you pay. The link 1776 you got (taped up) is a really good blade for the money, easy to sharpen, good size highly recommend by many as a first and EDC knife.
@@earlscheib7754 There are some economical hidden gems that can be found. Good on Kershaw for making cheaper knives without sacrificing quality in vital components. Someday I wont be so clueless. Thanks!
I enjoy these videos and you channel. Just catching up. $550 for these knives. At that point just grab a benchmade bugout or griptillian to back up a Bradford guardian 4/5 fixed blade and you’ll have two of the best knives, in my opinion, that you can carry for a lifetime. Or ball out with a Microtech OTF.
More content is in the works actually.. Its not TSA knives though. Admittedly I never tried to sell any of my knives and its too expensive to keep buying them
I really had to laugh at the values you placed on these used knives. You will be lucky to get pennies on the dollar for the nice clean ones. Even with custom high end American made knives i.e. Medford, you are lucky to get 50% of what you paid for a Praetorian G that you paid $650 for.
Thanks for watching! Don't forget to subscribe if you enjoyed! Hope everyone has a good day!

I’m not even surprised I’ve had mine for a little over 300 years with no issues. Can’t go wrong for only nine ducats
Clueless about Kershaw and knives in general.

Admittedly, I know nothing. Lol I can definitely tell which ones are higher quality when I pick them up.

You're lucky! They love stealing people's knives
That cabella kershaw knife you can get at Walmart for 7 bucks cheap lol knife but honestly worth it
That is a lot of selling you are going to have to do to make 60 bucks, and that is just if you manage to sell them all.
the 1660 is called "Leek", and has been my EDC pocket knife for several years. Very handy, like a utility knife with the super thin point
I bought my first Ken Onion (US-Made) Leek in 2008 at a cost of $30, today it retails for $115.

Anything with the suffix WM was made for Walmart and usually came in a combo pack.
Oh. Ouch. Walmart + combo packs.

Why do sooo many people leave their clips tip up!?
That Cabela's knife is a Kershaw hotwire
Don’t forget that Kershaw knives have a lifetime warranty.
I wonder if I could just send the broken ones?

I don't actually own any high quality knives lol
He did say $550? I kept backing up thinking I misheard him
@@Hoardstercause you spent 550 on used 💩knives
Who would even buy these knives used? Kids in their recess? That’s enough Kershaw knives to last a thousand people a lifetime.
good deal on the box of kershaw im shure you will make your money back and some dont blame you
ones with flags is made in usa and those are leeks good video sir
Thank you very much!
@@Hoardster your welcome sir
The American flag on the Kershaw's that did have them on the blades means that they were indeed made in the United States
? Why didn't you open the box on camera I think you put a couple of them knives in there yourself
If I had planted knives.. they would have been better
This one is very.....CHINA😅🤣
Looks like people carry around the garbage and leave the good stuff at home.....🤔
It really is strange how that happens..
why no more content

I got the values from used listings on eBay
I hate how you called G10 "plastic." It's not. You should know this. G10 is much higher quality. Do some research.
I know right
Bro is that a real hinderer?
no.kershaw made a version called the kershaw cryo
You don't even know the names

I love when people come to my defense against the nasty trolls. Thank you!
Mtech is dogwater
We do not need to see you the whole time
I would suggest some research on polymer and FRN handles, micarta and G10 etc. Cheap toy plastic? Think Z Hunter. FRN think Spyderco, Cold Steel etc
