Tbh mfs saying Unity has the best parkour are capping it has the best looking but it’s all aesthetics the actual controls and usage is so clunky and weird Arno gets his own mind sometimes and it’s so annoying I much prefer the ezio trilogy parkour or the Kenway games.

This is a good video, but I wanna add that they could've definitely made good RPG entries that retained old AC parkour. I'll probably do it myself some day. Hard difficulty combat is very good to me.

the mod really makes it like the assassins are people who wing it and are very experienced, since they go around jumping over things and if they dont do a good job at it they get hurt.

If only ubisoft stuck it out with Unity's mechanics instead of just mucking it all up in Syndicate, there would likely be actual assassin's creed games that are liked by more instead of spliting the community. Now they just dont know what makes assassins creed what it is anymore.

i find funny to imagine the scenario of content creators using every little interaction with ubisoft they get to promote ideas for parkour. "hey guys this gift you send me is awesome! thank you so much! it almost made me EJECT from my chair out of excitement! so instead a starting JUMPING manually without context! after that i needed to calm down you know, deep breath and all to do a emotional CONTROLLED DESCENT"
