the distilleries bring to Kentucky TOXIC WATER Harmful water chemicals found in distilleries can include heavy metals like lead, mercury, arsenic, copper, and cadmium, which can accumulate from the grains used, equipment, and washing processes; organic compounds like melanoidins, tannins, and sugar degradation products from the fermentation process; and potentially toxic chemicals like phthalates and other organic pollutants that can be present in the water used in the distillery depending on the source. Key points about harmful chemicals in distillery water: Heavy metals: These are particularly concerning as they can bioaccumulate in the environment and pose health risks even at low concentrations. Organic compounds: The fermentation process creates complex organic compounds that can be difficult to degrade and may have environmental impacts. Distillery wastewater This is considered one of the most polluted industrial wastewaters due to its high levels of organic matter, biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), and chemical oxygen demand (COD). Other potential harmful chemicals in distillery water: Pesticides: If the grains used in the distillation process were treated with pesticides residues could be present in the water. Chlorine: While used for sanitation, high levels of chlorine can be harmful and need to be monitored. Volatile organic compounds (VOCs): Depending on the cleaning agents used, VOCs could be present in the water. People that like to drink 🍺 alcohol. Don’t realize that they’re promoting these poison corporations to continue to poison us women experiencing miscarriages birth defects autism down syndrome auto immune disorders MS adhd other severe chronic illnesses and cancers from these harmful trace elements found in water. 57,000 Kentuckians died from alcohol in last 3 year alone. Hundreds and thousands of gallons toxic water goes into your city water supply here in Louisville it’s really messed up that your own Democratic city representatives are promoting you to drink tap water that’s been held hostage from the distilleries one of the distilleries that brings a lot of revenue in for the city own the water company it’s reality and it’s MAJOR CORRUPTION. No one drinks tap water straight out of faucet your representatives promote this because democrat or Republican is been paid off by the distilleries to say it’s ok to drink. what’s really messed up the EPA never talks about distilleries and breweries being the major factor of pollutions in the water just runoff from downstream factories know that there’s a lot of chemical factories within the proximity of 5 miles that gets into the water system as well no doubt about it. major corruption folks and need to wake up your democratic city governor and other elected officials are being paid off by the distilleries to keep things quiet. and the city water company are being controlled by the distilleries it’s major corruption if you want cannabis to be legal in Kentucky you need to get rid of the distilleries a little bit of evidence would go along way.
I have lived in KY for 30 years. Your comment on the education system is completely ignorant and inaccurate. Throwing more money into an already broken education system will not fix the education system. We need to first and foremost get rid of the teachers union, they corrupt and could care less about our children and their education system. The teachers are there to collect a paycheck and go home. Not all teachers of course are bad, but the majority are that is why we are ranked 36th in the nation. So again throwing more money will not fix the already broken education system. If the teachers are teaching based on their income and resources then they will not be any better with more money. The educators need to be regularly evaluated and trained if they are not maintaining a minimum in the classroom. The teachers union and the administrators are the main reason for our poor performance and ranking in our country. Until our state gets really serious about truly improving the education system and caring for the students and their success, we will continue to maintain our poor performance in the future.
One of the biggest reason people want to leave is because of our wonderful governor, King Andolph Beshear. This pos liberal shut down the entire state and ruined so many peoples lives. He ruined so many business too. Education is horrible in Kentucky. This is the legislature issue.
kentucky has always had problems with good employment. the schools were always poor. it is one of the worst states for health. so everything you say has always been that way.
I lived in Louisville for 7 years back in the 90’s wonderful memories, rented a gorgeous apartment in the St Mathew’s Area. Tall ceilings, beautiful wooden floors. The rent was not expensive at all. I guess it’s high now. It was a great place to live 😊
This is my fave channel on Kentucky.
This would be an amazing video without the sound in the background
I’m glad the ones on the list aren’t the ones that are actually nice hidden gems … and I’m not telling because it’s better that way all this is just downtown highland blah stuff
In the 1970s we were ranked 48 and I can assure you that I got a better education than my daughters or grandson did, so the whole damn country is declining, but KY is rising relative to the rest of the states, apparently. And I would argue that we are preparing our kids for what has become, higher priced education, rather than useful education that will feed a family. What happened to shop class and at least a little guidance towards skilled trades apprenticeships? We can only support so many gender studies specialists and 8th century art experts. Don't forget that we have one of the natural wonders of the world here in Mammoth Cave. Let's be honest. The real reason folks are leaving the state is because the 3 population centers, Louisville, Lexington, and Frankfort are all run by the Donkeys and those cities are suffering from the same policies that are fueling the exodus from every other city in every other state that are run by them. Cookie cutter dissatisfaction. IMHO
Population charts show steady growth of population the last 120 years. NY, Cali are losing population. People move in and move out of every state.... But Ky is a net incoming state. Cost of living is so much lower than coastal states.
Kentucky education might have problems, but underfunding is definitely NOT one of them. That goes for the rest of the US as well. LOL
Lack of recreational opportunities? You're insane lol, no mountains? Have you heard of the Appalachian mountains? Also, Kentucky has a ton of awesome parks (mammoth cave, daniel boone forest, cumberland, bernheim, red river gorge). Have you ever fished or hunted in Kentucky? Went kayaking in our awesome lakes and rivers? Living in Louisville you should know about the Louisville loop as well and the massive amount of funding that has gone into it. You must be just upset that there isn't an ocean in the middle of the state lol.
I left South Eastern Kentucky 30 years ago. All of my family and friends are still poor and ignorant. It should be turned into a national park.
You forgot to include the driving tour. I visited the neighborhood last year and would agree its up and coming but still mostly run down . Also Logan street is the only street with any commercial establishments and they're very limited so I would argue the walkability is minimal at best.
Did anyone mention the communist governor?
No recreation?? Kentucky is literally the rock climbing capital in the USA- Red River Gorge. We fly from all over the world to climb there even more than Yosemite. Hiking, caves, and lakes are a great way to spend weekends. No snowboarding but everything else recreational. Florida however lacks recreation except for lounging on a beach. Recreation is the one thing I miss about KY.
Berea is #1
Taco luchador is not "affordable"... $8+ for a single street taco isn't it when there are tons of better taco places like.... bandidos
Also don’t invest in a house anywhere here better off renting and if you like it for some reason then buy a home here but I’d advise to purchase in county’s nearby and travel into Louisville. Louisville is gang infested not a good city , the police are corrupt too … Just live here for a few months. Squatter issues as well I was gone for a month and someone squatted in my apartment neighbors didn’t care . Meth and Fentanyl are a huge issue here east end as well… there are cheaper and nicer city’s than Louisville … just watch news stories from the past 5 years of any city and remember they don’t even air half of the crime going on in that city .
I live downtown. It is not gang infested. You sound like somebody that doesn't get out too much.
@@mrjoshd yes it is idk bout in last month since lmpd actually cracking down bout earlier this year it very much was, ‘’you must not get out much ‘’… literally heard automatics throughout the night … people crime scene tape .. wasn’t even put on news .
@@mrjoshd they literally power washed a dudes brain matter off the sidewalk , wasn’t even put on news , some guy was choked to death , you really must not get out much to not notice these things …
Right in smoketown by bardstown rd also a homeless camp was set on fire killing 2 people under Baxter ave bridge not even on the west end or south end
@@mrjoshd also seen dude in hazmat suites power washing brainmatter off the sidewalk , someone got choked and beat to death for no reason or gang violence
Don’t live here west to east end you’ll mind you’re business and trouble will still find you no matter what especially downtown better living in new Albany if you only like the city . Suburbs just as bad here they’re building a new va hospital and free housing so the west end thugs can run they’re rackets here better. Idk if it’s everywhere but Louisville loves to hide they’re violence people die get assaulted and the news don’t care 🤷♂. They’re also a big racial problem here unless you’re black you will fit right in ………………
I was born in KY and my parents moved us away when I was in high school. I've lived here and there, including France and California. When it came time to retire I tried several places, but for various reasons wound up back in my home town. It's a nice place to live.
I think there are a lot of alcoholics in this area. Many bald men with beards.
Kentucky is a horrible racist state full of uneducated people. Please stay in California, NY, or whichever leftist utopia you are currently in. It's horrible here. Please don't move to Ky.
If you’re from California don’t come to Kentucky. We support Trump here. Believe it!
I really wanted to watch the full video, but the way the video is edited makes me nauseated to watch. As a fellow TH-camr, I definitely suggest simplifying your editing style. I know this style is meant to keep people watching and keep their attention, but I think your information is helpful enough that you don’t need to rely on the quick scene changes and sound effects. I mean that in the most supportive way possible! This editing style is more like a mr beast video, whose audience is primarily kids. For your target audience (which I assume is people looking to buy a home probably late 20s-50s, that type of editing is not really necessary.
Where has the least amount of natural disasters
The biggest problem is that Louisville is not worth how expensive it's gotten. Yes it is still one of the cheaper larger cities in the country, but not by as much as it used to be and as Louisville has gotten more expensive it's offered less and less in quality of life. 15 years ago, it was a much better place to live than it is now.
Hi. We are new at plainview. Do you have any suggestion for jcps school for 4 years old child?
This woman ain't even from Kentucky, trying to tell people about Kentucky smh
Born and raised in Kentucky. Kentucky has state income tax and yearly property tax on all vehicles. Lexington is the best city. Louisville is the worst.
Being surrounded by horse farms, with rolling green pastures, rock fences, and barns that look like homes. Sure, helps Lex.

Louisville was founded in honor of King Louis (Not Louah, not luhaa, but "Louie.") the XVI. When you visit, you are visiting "Louie Ville" not Louhvul, or Luvull, not LooAhVull, and so on. It is "Louie Ville". Got it?
