I really wish Butcher's Delight made it so that killing animals with the butcher's knife was how you get the carcass, not just in general. Just because you killed the animal does not mean you did it in a way that'd preserve most of the meat. It'd also make it easier for pack devs having to juggle item drops.

I never understood why people were so excited for the Copper Golem. A little thing that will rust overtime to become completely useless, and all it does is randomly push buttons? You can't make like a redstone system out of that. All you can do is have a little annoyance that, unless you have contraptions with copper buttons, will just wander around until it turns completely blue. The Glare genuinely seemed like the most useful mob in that vote. Instead we got the Allay, which you know, useful enough I s'pose

Only half way through the video and I wish so much this was available for Fabric. Hosting a fabric based server for my friends so we cant just switch but this would be so cool to have, especially the Mime and Peepers. Ya wanna talk about Minecraft Horror Mods? Thats the good stuff right there. A mob that mimics your behavior and gear and a mob that stares you right in the face and only moves when you do!

Great video! The only complaints I have are with the mod itself in fact Also, to be clear, they're very nit-picky complaints, the kind where I am acknowledging this is easily one of the best mods I've ever seen, so I want any small issues to be ironed out so it can be literally perfect Basically, these caves feel a little too isolated and self-contained for me; basically all the new stuff is crafted with materials you can only find in each cave, and all the mobs are only found there too, and there isn't much that connects with existing systems beyond a little bit of Redstone and some new potions The codex system, while awesome, reinforces this by marking these caves as special and separate from the rest of the game, rather than a normal part of the world (even though I fully understand the need to have a basic Patchouli-style mod guidebook) Even stuff like having Radroaches spawn in underground structures like mineshafts and dungeons, having some of the neutral aquatic mobs appear in other bodies of water, seeing moths and Vespers in some other caves, making the Notor scanners occasionally roam the Overworld as if scouting for information, etc. would do a lot, as would substituing some of the new items for existing items in some of the crafting recipes beyond a Diamond or Blaze Rod here and there to denote expensiveness I worry it will end up being like "find a new cave > kill all new mobs and use their bits to craft all the new items > cave complete, so move on" rather than having them be traditional biomes you interact with and constantly move between for different reasons as with the base game All that being said... I think I'm gonna use this in my next modded world and I will DEFINITELY be following it to see what new stuff is next (or even already out since this video, since I'm late to the party), since the basic ideas and designs feel super Vanilla and are incredibly well-made; for example, this is the first quarry mechanic I've ever seen that not only feels Vanilla-friendly but that I would actually consider using!
