I know the Castles built in Amsterdam had stone stairways located on the left of the entrance none on the right. This was because most warriors were right handed and it is hard to swing a sword going up the stairway with the wall right next to your sword hand, the stairs were uneven that didn't help either, and big round stones were thrown down the stairs as the soldiers came up.

Very artsy Roman battle. The battle from the first movie felt more medieval.

This is perhaps the most magical moment in Television in my most recent memory, no matter what you thought of the series, this moment made it all worth it
