Testimony - Freedom in Christ
#testimony #love #spirituality #jesus #jesuschrist #awareness #conscience
Happy new year!
Today, I tell the story about how, in 2021, Jesus Christ led me to freedom in the mind and a coming to conscienceness (I made up this word).
Tolstoy: "The true happiness of a man is having a clear conscience [...]"
I love you all!

Indeed many are going within. It is the only path towards the Higher Self, the path of the mystic (from the Greek mystos, meaning to remain silent).
Bs
Distraction is a key word for the time. We will all eventually have to go within - but everyone has his/her own trajectory - path. Humans as a collective learn slowly - likewise individually in differently areas of life. Thus the wonderful gift of rebirth. All roads lead to Rome, but the journeys can be long, slow and arduous. Higher perspective - may we hear more? Thanks. Keep the Faith.
So many bots and misinformation in comments on the internet skew things badly. It’s hard to gage what people really feel but even worse is that these campaigns can lead us to feel a certain way because we desire belonging. The danger is in the puppeteers manufacturing communities to serve their ideological world view. Only the rich really have the resources to spare in shaping human thought this way and we are seeing the results around the world. Will average people take notice? I am not so sure. Which leads to some annoyance that even if we disengage we cannot chose to be unaffected. We need to get back to engaging with real people one on one and see the faceless comments as NPCs. I know the irony in this which is why you can trust I am not a bot.
One of my favorite movies! Merry Christmas ⛄🎁🦁🎄
Merry Christmas and much love to you! ☺️🌟
You seem to always have very familiar insights. It feels like these truths took me a very long time and lots of work to come to myself. The value of who we become by learning from children is priceless. My kids are almost all fully grown but they've helped bring me to a wonderful starting point for the adventures in front of me. We get back more than we give and that is a truth that could change the world.
I love this! Sounds like your kids are very lucky to have you. :-)
As their parent
@@signe8744 Their appreciation is the most rewarding thing in the universe. We should find a way to not need external validation, I am told, but they are all a piece of me. They have each expressed genuine appreciation for who I am to them. My hope is to continue to share with them so when my time comes, they won't be without me, or without those who helped show me what it meant to live a good life. Every bit of inspiration we feel is a gift, it is up to us to find how to pay it forward..
As a self described blue ray starseed I had to push though years of Narcissistic military people in my family, after I got some of them in check, I married a severe BPD, my current wife, after twenty years of abuse I got her in check, another eight years abuse by narcissistic petty tyrant bosses in relatavely high level corporate world, got them in check. Now I’m chilling waiting for a new adventure, for whatever reason I’m looking for friction with the global subconscious, not getting scared and am getting a kick out of it. Again not sure what’s next but I might be done with the abusers in my life, bosses, colonel parents, wife, all in check, they all saw what they have done. The key was to have them empathize to your emotional trauma. Narcissists communicate via internal archetypes of people in their head, very inflexible. For example Matt is clumsy, Beth is stupid, etc. they create internal archetypes of people , when they talk to you they actually refer to their twisted representation of you in their head. It’s incredibly rigid, my advice, have them understand that they hurt you, at some point when they see it they can’t unsee it, it’s just gonna take twenty years of everyday work and abuse.I never left anyone of my abusive relationships because I have a calling for this shit. Upside is that if you are in the 1% and push through, I recommend people actually leave this relationship, for most the fight is not worth it, the recovered BPD will have mad respect for you, after all is done they will see you for what you are and realize they abused you and the dirty games the played and they will be deeply sorry, make them say sorry verbally multiple times over the years, at first they won’t say it, than they will say it but not believe it, and when they see it, that’s the best feeling in the world, their eye sight changes, they don’t have the reptile abusive stare no more. Last advise and prolly most important, absolutely make sure that you both agree that they are abusers. It’s not easy to have a narcissist agree to that, but when they do, start bringing it up, they will explode and hate that you call them abusers, than you revert to previous agreement remind them that you were hurt and they are the abusers, drive them crazy with this point until tenor motherboard can’t take it.Thousand repetitions of this get the point across, deliver those zingers that hit the bottom of their soul for reflective purposes, be in-tuned to the fear of your partner and their patterns, make it a full time job
What a beauty

Yes, when you are the lighthouse in the midst of an ocean storm, darkness will probably gravitate towards you! Shine bright and much love!! 🌟
Yin and yang reminds me of this contrast. I've always asked myself if the goal is to be happy, is that the same as the goal to be not sad. I think that I would miss the sadness, and possibly miss any emotion that could no longer be present. An artist understand how to make use of the negative space. Perhaps our emotions are always framed by the background of other emotional experiences. If I could, I'd like to share another thought related to endurance exercise. What would motivate people to go through the suffering? I believe, in part, it is the euphoric feelings generated when crossing a certain line of effort in time. Consider the feeling of runner's high. It's possible the drive is to compensate for some deficiency in our feel good brain chemicals. This is why exercise is often suggested as an important element of mental health. Do we wholly choose what we become or do we in some way fall into what works to compensate for our advantages and deficiencies? Do we have a choice at all? Thanks you for sharing. Managing the humidity at home becomes a daily chore at this time of year. I have two large humidifiers running at medium speed at all times and it helps quite a bit. Only in caring for guitars did this ever become a concern but my body appreciates it too.
Thank you for your comment! I definitely believe I would miss the sadness too. Just as I would miss my time in front of the fireplace during a cold, rainy day if it was sunny outside all of the time. There's much beauty in every emotion and every season. 😊 Very interesting question about whether we choose what we become - Maybe we have some choice, but I do believe that we often fall into what works, yes. About managing the humidity, thank you! I should look into that as well!
@@signe8744 Of the various humidifier types, I found the evaporative type with a fan and replaceable wicks to be easiest to maintain and most cost effective for the constant use required in winter. They need to be refilled with tap water almost daily, a antibacterial chemical added to the water, plus fully cleaned and wicks replaced once per month. We have hard water so the wick effectiveness is reduced with the mineral build up over that time. I only share this because I found it annoying to weed through all the various options during a bitterly cold stretch when I was trying to create humidity by hand, that was a lot of work 🙃

There is lots of wisdom here. Love is, I believe, intrinsically selfless. If we hold this truth close to our heart, while along our path, then I believe the answers that help us repair become self-evident. To love ourselves might suggest that we overcome our fear of being seen by the world where another selfless heart might be dazzled by our gifts. Thank you for sharing.
Yes, truly love is without condition. And I completely agee about the fear of being seen - this particular fear held me back for a long time. Thank you for commenting! 💕
So much of what you shared in your videos is very familiar. It’s an answer to the question if we are somehow alone in each step we take. In the most detailed sense I suppose we are but if you squint a little many of us share experiences, motivation, and understanding. It’s a testament to the nature of being human, perhaps? We explore and share our stories. While it may be obvious to wish everything had been easier up until now the hard work is rewarding. Even if only to help us appreciate fleeting moments of bliss. Personally, I feel hope on the horizon for overcoming even more. Life is what happens in between, there is not time to wait, only time to continue. The fear tells us to wait for the beautiful epiphany before the next step, but the steps are required to find what we are looking for. That’s what my heart tells me, at least. We only have so much time to make the most out of this life. Great works can inspire for generations to come. We each have the potential for such things.
Many thoughts on this topic. It’s important to give others the autonomy to find their own way. Meeting people where they are and giving them of ourselves what they need. This can be attention, understanding, kindness, laughter, or even something like setting an example. Everyone will have a different path through life and different gifts and struggles to navigate. We learn to give love selflessly and paradoxically the reward for these acts can be great. As we cultivate the gifts of our creation, we quell loneliness through what we can share but we might be disappointed if we share with any expectation. The beauty of a work isn’t entirely in what is there but in what is not there. There is as much to learn from the negative space. Whatever image might lead someone to experience enlightenment may be highly subjective and often only possible in some context of time. We can always inspire others on their journey as that seems to be far more critical than the destination. We must cultivate our ability to inspire.
So many great thoughts! Thank you for watching and giving such a valuable and thorough response. I agree! 💕

Why is the carpet all wet, Todd? I don't know, Margo! It seems to me that humans are being manipulated into delusion through modern media and puppets paid for by the wealth which is terrified of a revolt against them. They feel safe as long as they keep all the various labeled identities people align with fighting one another. If the 99% of humanity can come together and recognize that we, in fact, allow the 1% to exist, then how is it that we set the terms for such an existence? Perhaps, people are getting tired of being exploited for the benefit of those who already have more than they could ever possibly need? There really shouldn't be a comfortable place for billionaires to sit in a free society. They've already come close to squeezing the last drops of hope from normal people to have an existence beyond toil. Let's see how well that works out for them in the long run.

Thank you for sharing. Many good tips. I had a wonderful experience with massage therapy after a very long time without just recently. It felt emotional, I didn’t know how much I needed it. I’m considering making it more routine for now. Also, long term vegan and nutritional deficiencies is a regular worry but I have found it to seldom be an issue. Neglecting to take a b12 supplement has been the only thing that I believe has caught me at times and yet I cannot be absolutely sure. I try to take a quality multivitamin for insurance. Any bloodwork has come back normal but every body will be different for sure. I laughed about the black metal as I have a memory of bad weather, narrow roads, and black metal on the radio station when driving east from Bergen the night before a planned hike. We have such wide roads and tame radio where I am from. I found it endearing.
Yes, massage therapy is incredible, I agree! It indeed feels like it assists the body in purging some stored trauma. B12 is ver important, yes - I believe you may lack iit even if you're a meat eater though. Yes, I don't think veganism causes problem for everybody - in my case though, I believe the Norwegian, vitamin D deficient winter played a part. As in the winter, I'd primarily get my dose of D through fish (cod liver oil) and meat. Ahh, Bergen! The weather is usually bad there, though. 😄Strangely enough I've only been there once for the Night Jazz festival and it was sunny. I guess I was very lucky with my visit!
@@signe8744 My trip started in Oslo, then an overnight train to Bergen, and stayed at an amazing hotel near the train station. The breakfast was incredible, like nothing I've experienced before. It was windy and cold as the sun sank lower in the sky, but not as cold as the winter in Wisconsin. When I go back I think I will plan for weeks rather than days.
@@ikitat That sounds awesome. Next time you take the trip across the pond to visit, I'd recommend seeing the Northern part of Norway during the summer (if you haven't already that is). With the midnight sun it can be quite spectacular. 🤩
@@ikitat And I'd love to visit Wisconsin! I've only been to New York.
@@signe8744 Wisconsin is well worth the visit. We even have several Norwegian settlements, which will feel at least a little like home. My favorite features are along the glacial boundary but also some of the strange attractions that have been built like House on the Rock and Dr Evermore's sculpture park. Milwaukee is my favorite city, there's lots to see along all the lake front. It's quite diverse for not being in the mountains or on the ocean.
Hi, YT recommended your video to me. YES, we have Absolute Freewill (within this Universe anyway), however, it would be useful to clarify what is meant by "we" since the person you are in this life is not exactly the same as the person you were in another life, the point being that even though this is true, these lives are very, very temporary. Going beyond many lifetimes there exists more perception of the freedom we inherently have at our disposal.
From what I can tell, free will isnt an inherent state but more of a feature of a certian stage in development. Many people are cut off from being aware of this aspect of themselves. Complete or absolute free will isn't on the table since free will isnt a freedom from constraints. It is rather the freedom to act in alignment with our own deepest inner nature and to do it without outside pressures or coercion
🌝🧡
Another interesting topic. There is much to say but what stands out to me is the idea of giving kindness and getting hurt in return. It seems that giving kindness does not require we give our vulnerability. In being vulnerable to another we are in a sense asking them for something; maybe it is asking for love, friendship, attention, and so on. Perhaps we are then vulnerable to their rejection or their misuse of our willingness to give more at that point. Kindness can be given with no expectations in light of this viewpoint. What does seem essential is an awareness that kindness for others first requires a kindness to ourselves and that's where the realization of boundaries becomes essential. To set boundaries we first need to be brave and we need to accept our commitment to disengage with those who refuse to respect us or otherwise act in bad faith. At least these are my thoughts from experience around this topic. I have a whole other set of thoughts on the idea of karma but perhaps those can be saved for another time.
Thank you for sharing! I agree with you that we need to disengage with those who refuse to respect us. Unfortunately, in some cases these individuals are family members that we feel obligated to stay connected with. People with a pure heart may feel guilty for trying to distance themselves.
It is difficult, I agree. I’m not sure the feelings of grief ever totally disappear. We have to decide what we mean by by setting boundaries. To me it is a line to not be crossed by a people and being responsible to communicate it clearly. That doesn’t have to be permanent but what are the preconditions to reconciliation? I wish that I didn’t have specific experience in this regard. I don’t hold hope for reconciliation and spend my energy towards the people in my life if we are genetically related or not. An example, I would not continue with a parent who is a threat to the wellbeing of my child.
To my eye the most attractive feature is authenticity. Was that Thelonious Monk on your shirt yesterday? Grew up with a musician parent as well. Do you play?
I agree! I love to see people's soul. :-) Yes, it was young Monk on my hoodie - good eye!! oh, cool! What did your mom/dad play? I'm a singer! Do you play? :)

Some of the best times with some of my favorite people. Now, in my 40s, I've taken up the piano and more recently the guitar which I have come to love. Also, enjoy recording and production. Norway is amazing. I visited for 5 days and it was not enough. Wonderful hiking there. Cannot wait to see it again. An idea that I heard recently is that fairness is not getting the same but getting what is needed. A wonderful idea that I have wanted to continue considering and integrate into my life. I believe we have the illusion of free when in reality we are a ripple in nature.
Yes, our hiking network is truly incredible, and in my opinion, the best part of living here! 🙂 Ah, and beautifully said about the illusion of free will - I think you are on to something there. If we had complete free will then that would probably not work out since we all have difference purposes here on Earth (as a symbiotic inderdependent system) - just like the animal/insect kingdom as well.

I love this topic, been noticing the same things. A lot of ppl look at others as a comparison, competition. Ppl just want to know what you have that they don’t, it’s very hard to make friends these days in my mid 30s as a female. Nobody looks at other as human beings anymore. And I completely agree that I believe it’s bc of social media. And the way ppl are now interacting with others through screens. It’s very vain. I sometimes see the anger in ppls faces when they see something good that stands out about another person but I also see the switch of their attitude towards that person. It’s very weird , sad and ugly. It sucks that even family competes with one another and tries to put others down just so they don’t make it in life. Ppl just don’t like seeing others happy these days.
Very true. It's sad when people view other people's success as a threat instead of looking at it for inspiration (as we should).
