Having no women in the sport is because its a multi billion dollar business. There is without a doubt women currently racing in other categories who could challenge for wins in F1 but they dont bring the big bucks with them. Its the same reason lots of male drivers haven't had the opportunity. It's a tough one because you cant just give them a seat because they're a woman but at the same time they wont get sponsored if companies dont see what they're actually capable of
