This was a great video keep up the good work. 👍
Can I ship you my injectors to clean? What’s your turn around?
Absolutely. Right now I’m about 1-2 days once received
Do you have a Facebook or anything that I can add you on and talk more? And where you located?
Sick music!!
Haha thanks. I try to make my injector videos a little more bearable. But yea, stick figure is my jam
hey buddy, excellent job, I would like to know where to get the rail for mercury adapters
Fuelinjectorsinc.com
Thanks for posting this exceptional content. I find it so therapeutic and relaxing. Keep up the good work!
But what was the symptoms when the boat was running
Not any symptoms to speak of. These came out of an opti that had been sitting for multiple years
Hi where do buy the seal and filter
@@roscelybatista9988 I buy in bulk but you can get rebuild kits from injectorrehab.com. Or fuel injector shop.com
what pressure do you use for backflush? thanks
Usually around 30 psi.
Informative video. Thanks for putting it out there for us.
Thank you for watching!
I tried watching it but the internet at my billion dollar place of employment kept buffering
Congratulations on reaching 168 views in just 5 months!
Goodmorning I would like to ask witch machine you like the best between the ecom 40 or the launch 605. And where you bought them. I have a m5000 and an autool 200. But I won't more. Thank you.
The ecm 4/6 gdi machine is a good one. I like borh of them about the same I guess. And I got the ecm gdi machine from fuelinjectorsinc.com. From scott Fii
Great video.
Thanks Man. As you can tell, i was made for the camera. LOL. Just figured id make a few videos from now on with some explanation of whats happening
Finally! The face behind the curtain!
thats some nasty dirt in there
Yup. These particular style of injectors love to gum up if they sit too long without use
What rpm / duty cycle do you use testing mode?
What you see in the video on pattern testing is a held open cycle. The volume testing is ran at 1666 rpm at a 50/50 duty cycle. But these are more or less highlight videos. I also run them through a acceleration simulation and various rpm ranges from idle to 10,000 rpm during testing. These particular injectors were tested at ~40 psi
Do you run volume testing also high rpm like 5000-6000rpm and 50/50 duty cycle or more? e.g. 80% or so?
@@HuuhkaRacingI do. For standard cleaning I usually don’t do anything but use the standard settings on the Asnu bench. But when I have a customer that has a issue with skipping at a certain rpm or some weird anomaly I’ll play with the settings to try and recreate the issue. But for the most part, the auto range test mode on the bench cycles the injectors from idle to 12,000 rpm and changes the duty cycle within the duration of the test
How do you like your Launch 605? Does it work well with the basic GDI injectors?
Love it. It’s very user friendly. Supplies plenty of voltage for gdi injectors, and will hold 10 bar(140ish pounds while doing the gm injectors. It holds a steady 100 lbs doing hpdi injectors. I’m about to upgrade the pump to a high output Bosch pump like I do all my non Asnu machines.
Thanks for the info. I have two machines but I want something with a little more versatility with out braking the bank. The 605 looks like the one for now. Thanks again and I enjoy watching your videos keep up the good work.
@@garrybuckminster688 100% a fantastic machine. If it had a viewing window like the Asnu machines it would be unbeatable. Thanks for watching. Any questions about the 605 let me know. I’ll do a walkthrough video if it would help
THE CONTENT IS AWESOME AND VERY ENTERTAINING GREETINGS FROM A NEW FRIEND ALWAYS SUCCESSFUL
Stick Figure . Legit
What machine are you using? What voltage are you running them at?
That’s a gdi machine from scott Mckalvey in St. Petersburg. I’m running at 90v on these. Testing at 120 psi. My Asnu machine is the smaller one and can’t do the gdi injectors properly. The gdim5000 can toggle back and forth between standard efi and gdi with a button push. It can also run piezoelectric injectors. It’s a great little machine. I do have a Asnu gdi classic on order to handle 8 at one time. Thanks for asking.
I bought an Autool CT400 GDI machine to clean my HPDI injectors. But it only has 12V 70V and 120V. It does go up to 150psi. I see they can be driven between 65-85V. I'm hoping this machine will work out for me.
@@JohnColeman-ul5rj 70v should be plenty for low pressure testing.
Last question: What testing fluid do you use for the HPDI injectors? My machine says to use industrial strength alcohol, not sure if that's ok for these injectors
@@JohnColeman-ul5rj I use the test rite fluid but you can use mineral spirits. The specific gravity is very similar and the mineral spirits do a good job of cleaning the internals.

Where can I send mine to get Cleaned an cleared up. I live in alaska and my yamaha f60lb is having issues and I think it maybe the injectors
Go to my website and print the form off. Fill it out and send it with your injectors. My address and contact is on the form. www.duvallsmarine.com
Context please
I service and refurbish fuel injectors.
Nice video. Couldn't manage to clearly see what pressure you were testing those at though. Just curious to know.
70 psi on leak checks 38-40 psi for spray patterns and volume testing on the 150 four stroke injectors. I do need to put more effort into displaying the pressures for different injectors. Thanks for watching and giving feedback!
Must be lots of cars with injector variations too
@@VYXtreme there really are a bunch of different rail pressures out there. I have 3 machines and I test at anywhere from 30 psi to 150 psi. And I have hundreds of different adapters for the rail side of injectors. The Asnu bench is by far the best machine out there.
Thanks for the awesome work!
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to help you out. I wish it would have been a glaring issue but yours were in pretty good shape
I like that you use three machines. I do too and it makes things much easier. Like your videos keep up the good work.
Thanks man! The ASNU machine is definitely the best but my other 2 machines i put high output Bosch pumps in and upgraded circuit boards. It does make life easier. I. Just ordered a common rail/heui injector bench for diesel injectors and I’m going to bite the bullet and order the big ASNU machine as well.
@@duvallsmarine I'm thinking the same thing. The GDIClassic or the GB800 from GB Remanufacturing with the E TECH adapters. I fixed outboards for 50 years now I do bench work carburetors and injectors for everything. Nice to chat with someone who does the same thing.
@@garrybuckminster688 I looked at the gb800. You can actually get it a little cheaper directly from carbon zapp who makes the machine out of Australia. I went with asnu for the viewing window. It’s hard to get a good view of the patterns in the tubes. I did turn all my tubes sideways so you don’t have to look at the measuring lines while flowing. We don’t have a lot of etec motors around here anymore. The hpdis and Optis are fading fast too. Can’t say I’m upset about it either
@@duvallsmarine Yes I like that about the ASNU the window and there E-TECH box is great we have a lot of them still around. I won't bother you anymore I know your busy but I will send comments once in awhile.
@@garrybuckminster688 you ain’t bothering me. I’m glad to see that people are getting some value out of my videos.
