In this video I'm riding the Nukeproof Scout at Sherwood Pines. Just a short 5-mile, 30 min loop with some of the start of the blue, linking with some forest ranger track and finishing with the undisputed best 2x sections of the Red! A fun and poppy hardtail feels like the perfect bike for a quick lunch time on these kind of trails.

Here's a sort of pointless comparison. Between my previous personal best (hungover on a Nukeproof Reactor, carbon fibre full suspension bike, with brand new grippy tyres) and my new personal best (Feeling fresh but on my Nukeproof Scout aggressive hardtail with much older tyres.)

Short ride on my lunch break. Nukeproof Scout finally has its own wheels, I had spare tyres, discs & cassette so bought some cheap wheels off ebay. Shimano compatibility… I discovered a 12s cassette with 11s shifter works fine (you obviously don’t get the 12th gear) To my surprise, I beat my personal best on Tornado Alley!
