I played Sims 4 when it came out, and started playing it again the other day, expecting the same good game. They made it too PC, to be frank

The Sims 3 is still better than 4. If I had to live in a room for literally eternity, and could only take one game with me, The Sims 3 would easily be the answer. The only reason it's not the most played is EA is too afraid to give it 64bits. If they gave TS3 64bits, enabling us to use more Ram, TS3 would demolish TS4, by a LOT.

Yes i agree, the expansion packs are great but i want challenges, everything is too easy. i love being able to adopt cats and horses, but more content doesnt make it more entertaining its useful, yes, but its always the same :<

Turn off aging, customize Sims to look unique or imitate celebrities, and turn the game into a TV series like the Simpsons. It amuses me to create new saves with their own 'theme' and then turn them loose after carefully setting their traits/skills/etc. The game seems to have more appeal as a promise to the player than the reality.

Personally, 10 is my favourite, even over 7. I also really enjoyed 12, it suffers from the complex back story and language of the later games but once you get past that the gameplay, plot and world are great. 13 was such a massive disappointment, I could never understand the plot and the game itself was so boring I gave up half way through. I haven't played another mainline game since, the bro trips of 15 didn't win me back. Anyway, geat video! Totally agree.

Not sold. I dont know a thing about "deep star wars lore" but my guess is that people dont do it because its difficult to do. Kind of like trying to hit a baseball right next to you by aiming at something in outer space. Not a fan of this movie, but this part was one of the only enjoyable scenes.

I think it's because everyone hates EA and they keep releasing kits that no one asked for and shoving them down our throats. And they are extremely lazy with some of the animations compared to Sims 2!! Sims 1-3: an actual social worker will arrive and take you baby/child Sims 4: disappears into thin air

I started playing Sims in Sims 1, i was too young to get very far but i really enjoyed it. The most Sims i ever played was Sims 2. I absolutely loved Sims 2. Sims 3 and 4 both feel bland.

It didn't help when I used the function in manage worlds where you move people in and out of households to take everyone's money, then I had 1 million simoelians. I got bored because I was set for life. Also, that was in my legacy world, I didn't know the rules 😅 I always find that it's hard to please my sims, at least it used to be... Fury was a good challenge In the werewolves game pack. I've actually decided to restart my legacy challenge and I got up a video about how to do it this time, I realised I was doing it wrong when I watched the video 😂

Literally just modded out my game and bought two new EP's in order to get back into TS4 but was bored within a few hours lol. All my sims wind up being homebodies because leaving the home lot is so stressful, try going to any community lot and you see all the bugs.

There are way too many DLCs

For me; My game was Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad, it had the best amount of engagement, so wave based combat that didn't feel like a slough to get through. When I tried HLL, I really felt powerless and not in a way I personally enjoy. Now I'm realizing I was alone in the game, I didn't even realize there was squad chats because no one used it in the game I was in. So here I am TRUELY experiencing war for the first time. Walk up. Domed. Crouch up. Dead. Crawl up. Grenaded. It is the most accurate simulation of WWII off the top of my head but for me personally, well I'm not sure that's a good thing. Not saying it's anything but amazing of course. Hey, Sean, if you haven't already. Check out Foxhole. It's an on-going endless war where you can fight in an isometric top down style, drive and operate tanks, etc AND my favorite part, Supply Running. Without guys running the trucks and engineering the entire war comes to a halt so guys that do it are the real MVPs and someone is always willing because it's fun to do. Last thing. TH-cam did not display your last TWO videos for me through my bell notifications. I am a religious checker of my notifications, I can't stand to have them on my screen so I certainly didn't just miss it. I don't know if that's just because lower numbers or a glitch or what but just thought I'd let you know. Not to discourage you at all. You're doing amazing! 👍👍

Sims 4 is fun for me 😢

But there are many things you can do to challenge yourself. Start with no money. Have every bad thing as lot trait. Start a club and make socializing a no go. But make them be mean to everyone in their group and have them at your house 24/7. Its how i kept playing hours upon hours of the sims.

What's crazy to me is, the ONLY thing I don't like about WW2 games is the time period and setting make it boring to me. If you did a 1:1 thing but you made it a scifi or a fantasy, or hell both.. I would be in. And I'm really amazed nobody has done that, in fact I bet someone's going to reply and tell me they did. Like, we get "what if Romeo and Juliet but in modern day? what if Sherlock Holmes in the future with robot Watson? what if Hamlet but lions?" so like, give me WW2 with lasers. Give me a purple alien warlord who is putting the orange aliens in camps and we gotta stop him. I dunno, this is the same thing that keeps me out of gangster movies, westerns, and a bunch of other stuff that apparently must be great because everyone loves them.

I think that a little bit of what's missing in the sims 4 are the STORIES, in the Sims 2 there were interesting stories for every neighborhodd and family. There were also cinematics of special moments of your sim's life and they had MEMORIES which gave them a lof of life and interesting characteristics. I like to make my own stories and course of things in a sims life on the sims 4 by myself whenever I play, and it's kinda difficult, so that's what it makes it fun to me

The main issue that made The Sims 4 extremely unenjoyable for me was the inconsistency between the major DLCs. There is no connection, every DLC feels like its own separate game. I guess they wanted to make them feel optional, but in reality, this made them feel absolutely unnecessary and disconnected. They add no significant value to the game, and I often found it hard to decide which one I even wanted to engage with. Another aspect, as already correctly mentioned in the video, is how easy it is to achieve your goals. There are no real obstacles, and this was particularly noticeable for me in the social aspect of the game. I was getting frustrated with how easy it was to become friends or develop romantic relationships with anyone you wanted. I wish the game offered much more randomness in this regard, like social contacts who would simply refuse to interact with your Sim.
