Fish the margins for certain. Sometimes it’s just luck of the draw bud. I’ve gone days not catching anything then I’ve had 8-9 in a day on every lure I throw 😂 keep at it bud. Thanks for watching 🙏

Thanks mate. I know the feeling! I had a bad one yesterday. Caught a pike right at the end of the day, left it in the net to get my unhooking mat and it launched itself off the bank taking my net with it. Had to go swimming to get my net back 😂

In all fairness the Lure with the missing tail was my ‘go to’ lure and has seen a lot of use andthe mouths of quite a few pike. I do know what you mean though. I try to check the mouths of all Pike prior to releasing but sometimes it is difficult to see if a small section of the tail has already been swallowed. I’ve found the size and extendable pole to be great. The head is a little flimsy but it’s more than adequate. It’s when you’re trying to open it in a rush and the pull down section gets stuck, thats when it’s a pain but all in all it is a really good net. Thanks for watching buddy 🙏💪

I use a double uni knot. Look it up on TH-cam mate (best know for braid to fluro) there are plenty of tutorials. That’s where I learnt it from mate nice and easy. Thanks for watching! 👍💪

First couple of fish are yes buddy. The big Perch is round the back of the woodland on the River Calder 👍

The first fish was kept in the net and placed on the grass to save time so I could release the fish sooner as the location was awkward. I used my Matt for the big Perch at the end which you’ll see on the video 👍
