Love when you show us how to clean the crabs. Look so pleasantly peaceful!!!

We love your channel. I love seafood, but I don't think I have ever had blue crabs before only king crab and snow crabs. I was telling my husband the other day when we retire, I want to move to VA or FL. I used to love fishing, and I want to do that again.

The Can Cooker also comes with accessories. There is a strainer insert that allows you to drain the liquid away.

Just another thought...what a lovely gift that can cooker was. I'm wondering if one could use an Instant Pot to do something similar. About the cleaning...I'm with you Tony. I agree that the crab should be very clean before cooking. The Washington Dept of Fish and Wildlife told me that it's healthier to do it that way as opposed to cooking them without cleaning because any toxins that are in them will come into the meat if they aren't cleaned first. I'm also in agreement about having them on ice before cleaning because it's said they slow down so much they aren't aware/or as able to feel pain and it's the most humane thing to do before killing them. I refuse to throw a live fully aware crab into a pot of boiling water.

Hi Tony. Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving. I did too. Would I let the thin one go? Of course I would! If he was soft and thin, why not let him go harden and grow? Out here if a Dungeness is soft you have to let them go. You can't keep females either no matter how big they are. Anyway, happy it turned out to be a good crabbing day for you.

Hi, Tony!🙋🏾‍♀️ Great video! You demonstrate what it means to crab with a heart. Showing that it's ok to throw a crab back at times. And to leave the area clean when you're done. Your crabbing etiquette is worth imitating for sure. I love the thorough way you clean the crabs. I agree with you that there's no such thing as over cleaning a crab. 😂🦀Drone footage was wonderful as usual and I love the music 🎶 you use for your drone work. Awesome video all around!
