Hi Tony, you say it’s cold where you are. Well, it’s rainy where I’m at. I was able to watch your video until the rain calmed down. Drone footage! Beautiful!!!!!
40 degrees is a spring or fall days here in Chicago where we are located. In January / February we sometime have wind chills of 2-3 below zero or lower. Now that is cold.. This time of year, is the best time to be in FL. We usually come there for the holidays each year but not this year. I didn't have time to plan it. We own a timeshare in Orlando. Next time we are down there, I will go fishing for sure.
@rredict give me 60 to 80 all day and night and I'm good. I don't like the cold only because the crabbing stops. Definitely don't like snow. The cold sucks when dealing with this water.
HEY TONY 👋🏾. You got some nice crabs. I had some female crabs from the Asian store yesterday but hardly any meat in them but im learning to pick them by watching your channel. Keep the drone footage coming. I love it.
This was enjoyable tell me what's the difference between female and male crabs when you are eating them and it was so funny when you called that turtle ninja turtle 😂😂👍🏽🔥💯
Males have bigger claws most of the time. Females have the roe(eggs) inside that some people like to eat. I eat both. If I'm catching enough males, I will release the females.
Hi Tony! I enjoyed watching as usual. I'm curious... how cold was the air temperature? How cold can Florida get? Out in Washington we've had temps mostly in the 40s and at night down in the 30s sometimes, but haven't yet gotten a big frost. Another question: why don't you like keeping females? Are they harder to clean or less tasty? Well, my friend, you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving day!
@miriammacdermot5601 Well I'm in North Florida, so we get pretty chilly. It was in the 40s this weekend in the mornings, but got back up to 70. I like the males cause they're normally bigger and have larger claws. Also for conservation. But, I will keep them it they're big, or I that's all I'm catching. You have a great Thanksgiving too! Thanks!
Are you right handed? The reason I ask is because when using a spinning reel it feels less awkward for a right handed person to reel with the left hand, giving more balance and strength to fight a fish with the dominant hand holding the rod.
@@CrabbingWithTony And the spinning reel is designed with a balance point with the angler holding it with the index finger in front of the reel post and the middle finger behind it. It is all one fluid motion. No hand changing, or rod swapping. Left hand opens bail as the right hands fore finger tip picks up line, than cast. Practice between crab pulls makes perfect. One day we may be watching a Fishing with Tony channel. lol
Pinfish! Excellent bait, live or cut!
