You know I do wish that this game had the thing that p5/R where the more you level up your social links and you get abilities by doing that, you know what I mean?

Mario golf was going strong n64-3DS ended with world tour tons of challenges and a club with tournmanets and challenges for costumes and many characters and course. I think it has the most charcaters and courses from all mario golf games. Oh cant forget those amazing post hole animations.

i see the criticism of pikmin 1's original release (gamecube) being too hard and clunky a lot and it never ceases to cause me unending confusion. i refuse to play any version other than the gamecube version. i dont get it.

Great vid as always! I think this is a really important topic to talk about in today's gaming landscape. DLC has pretty much become an expectation for any major release, to the point where BG3 not getting dlc was news in and of itself. Also dlc isn't an inherently good thing, like in Sword in Shield. The existence of the dlc is not entirely a good thing because it has the chance to completely destroy the main game experience for a new player. Also those dlcs pretty much make the games pay to win by locking so many mons, including super strong meta defining mons like Urshifu behind a pay wall. As for free updates, they're definitely harder to do right thanks to the restriction of being free making it really difficult to justify making it at all, let alone making actual full on new and interesting content. The main thing that differentiates it from what I've seen is intent/purpose. Content made to keep the game alive and running is usually a lot more basic, along the lines of the sports games and splatoon. On the other hand, we have the "Labor of Love" type of updates we see out of Dave the Diver, or something like God Of War Ragnarok: Valhalla. These aren't made for money. Them being unprofitable isn't important. It's about giving the fans something out of sheer want to make them happy and to thank them for their support. That's where we get the real good stuff. Can't wait to see what you make next!

Team sonic racing is just so much better than crash. The weapon system in TSR is just so fleshed out and balanced where as in crash, you can't evade a rocket or a clock power up

i recently beat yokai watch 4 with only katie, whisper and jibanyan, nobody else, and i genuinely had the time of my life, it was challenging but in a fun way instead of just lawnmowing everything, maybe i'll try this if i can finally convince myself to open my copy of ykw1 for switch (i'm too sentimental to even open it ToT)

I mostly like the curien mansion maps too, though when I was playing the Wii version I get freaked out whenever I'm in the church part of the track. montage when there's the zombies in there, they get too close to the camera and it creeps me out. Also would be nice is metal sonic and his track got voicelines for the announcer.

Grew up with this game on the ps2

emulation has nothing to do with these games being brought back, because nobody was really playing these games. you'd really have to look and see who is, but no the truth is, these games just didn't sell all that well in the west. if you had a Gameboy Colour you might've played it, but this game fell under the radar back then. so it was mainly the developer, it's why it took so long before a sequel was made. the rest of the series mostly stayed in Japan. but after the Switch hit the market and blew up, that's when the original publisher went back and looked at these games.

You should try the German commentator on transfromed. He is way more energetic

Thanks for saying Super Paper Mario is a good. I wasn't a big fan of the Origami King. The battles and boss fights really ruined the game for me.

I love me some ranking videos, and I've been watching the Racing and Riders track videos a lot lately. I just find them really pleasant and satisfying. Not only am i learning more about the games in the series i haven't played, but you clearly have a lot of love for the games that's just infectious :) I love how you used the announcer's lines for each track, especially that hype intro for the final one (Even if would be pretty long, i would honestly love to see how the tracks from all three games compare to each other)

An amazing short and sweet video on what seems to be an amazing short and sweet game! Honestly this game seems really cool! It looks super unique which is not an easy thing for platformers in this day and age, and it has some stellar pixel art! Platformers have never really been my bag, Celeste is the main one that I've played which really grabbed me, so I might have to give this game a try! Awesome to see you shining a spotlight on smaller games like these and I'd love to see similar vids in the future! Also really cool of the devs to send you a review copy!

To make the sproink fight easier, when he leans back and sticks out his belly button, target his head instead. Attacking his belly will cause him to use his soultimate and if you attack his head instead, your yo-kai will be a lot healthier, the fight will be easier, and you can widdle down sproink's health quickly. You deal roughly the same damage to his head as his belly button anyways lol.

I love Dream Valley

Aquatic Capitol is my Favorite. It is like a cool water park. This game really does take me back to my childhood. I got this game as Christmas present and I played it immediately on my PS2. Then years later I got it again for Nintendo Wii to play it again for old times sake since I lost the PS2 thanks to my siblings. I still hope SEGA Remasters this game and Sonic Free Riders cause the 1st Sonic Riders was the best. We can do our own tricks, boost, and attack our Rivals. That took those great mechanics off when they made Zero Gravity and Free Riders, only if your in 7th or 8th or 12th place, you'll be able to attack when u grab an item pod. They even messed up Super Sonic like what were they thinking? They clearly made him a power type. On the 1st Sonic Riders, Super Sonic was Speed, Flight, and Power. I hate whenever Super Sonic is playable in a Sonic Game, he always has to run on rings. I wonder what made Sonic Colors good enough to be remastered. I never even played to original game.

The main reason Risky's Revenge was so short was because it was released as a digital download only, for the Nintendo DSi. It had to be small enough for the DSi.

I feel pikmin 4 was a downgrade from 2 which is peak. Dandori battle is worse than 2 player battle. The caves are worse. Its easier. The characters are not as memorable. Pikmin 2 is better but pikmin 4 is still 2nd.

Pikmin 2 Babbby best game. I also share the same feelings with others in that how does removing the day limit remove all time management but the in day timer is still there. The game records the days it took you to beat it so you can try to manage your day better and beat it in less days. Many of the pikmin 2 criticisms made no sense to me but like others have said this one stuck out the most.

I have a pretty big soft spot for Sand Ruins, although it's probably a mix of childhood nostalgia (I have a lot of good memories of playing this game) and thinking the stage looks cool aesthetically. I don't really have much to say about the track layout

funfact: sprounk can be made much easier by exclusively targetting his head when he falls. this will mean 2 things 1. his soultimate won't charge 2. he will remain stunned much longer

Idk if you ever checked the stats of the characters. But the ChuChus arent slow. They just have poor acceleration to balance out their speed. Just like how Shadows bike is slow but has really good acceleration.

Great video! I honestly haven't actually played many of these, only a bit of the Olympic Games series, Super Sluggers, and Inside Story tbh, but the latter two were enormous parts of my childhood! And I do feel like Mario has some of the greatest spin offs of all time (granted there's a fuckin million of em, some had to be good). Great to see these getting the appreciation they deserve! Also this has pushed me even further to actually go and play the Rabbis games, as well as SMRPG and 100% picking up TTYD remake (granted was already going to but still). Can't wait for the next video!

Am I the only one who actually supported Enchanted Portals despite its controversy with being compared to Cuphead? Nowadays, I was disappointed. Enchanted Portals HAD the potential to be a good game but because of the failed Kickstarter and how rushed it is, I really hoped that Xixo Games proved the haters wrong but for once, the haters were right.. By the time Enchanted Portals was released, the Cuphead DLC was booming and there's no point on getting the game if you want to get more Cuphead. I actually love the potential and passion of Enchanted Portals but I wish that one day, just at least one day, Xixo Games would prove that Enchanted Portals can make an improvement, seeing that their last update on the game, although small, made a change of the game. What I really recommend is try to make test-runs for the game just like the Beta edition of Cuphead before its final release, we need a taste of their game play instead of just trailers and visuals to convince us to support their Kickstarter. Although I may not like Enchanted Portals, I do see a light somehow flickering for a shed of hope as a lesson to the creators for a brand new beginning after their first loss with Enchanted Portals.

I honestly think the "complete 40 tasks without missing one" challenge in Cruisin' for a Bruisin' is by far the most difficult non-boss challenge. Once you start getting 5+ tasks on screen on your screen at a time it becomes super easy to get overwhelm or even determine where you have to go next (not to mention the fact that you can barely go in a straight line if you have too many items on hand). Plus how easy/hard of a time you're going to have feels largely up to luck at times since you may get the tasks spawning super close or all the way on opposite ends of the map. Wound-up Windmill is still brutal if going for full completion, but at path ahead is always the same so its purely a matter of skill (that and there's plenty of ways to take shortcuts to reach the end).

The was set up to be a failure i can tell your going to be like "you never give it a try and you splatoon fans are the reason the game failed." Splatoon 3 keeps growing at a positive rate and the latest season trailer has seen a lot of positive feedback

I really like everything in this video! I never really liked how overlooked pokemon interactions were in the games, be it pokemon-pokemon or pokemon-player interactions. And the personal resort idea works perfectly for that. Also, bringing contests back is great! I agree that they really needed to be more focused on, especially maybe being encouraged to use a separate team for them.
