Wow, I've never ever seen a game like that with 2nd vamp mature. All thanks to the changes from the Immortal Update! You could have reached it if you had just gone there directly. Prioritise trail, not Dracula unless you have a clear game-defining opportunity to kill/cripple him 😊

One thing you missed in analysis is that if you had moved to N Dunland and then took the 2 Dunland settlements it would kill off the Dunlending faction. Not that was necessarily worth it, but it was something.

Why play Dreadful Spells with only 2 Nazgul? I pretty much never play it unless I have 4 or 5. Seems a waste otherwise.

I think scouting away from OSG in the end is mathematically not very efficient. You are getting to roll full 5 dice with 1 reroll while SP rolls on 6s. Then you retreat and they have to roll on 6s again. By scouting away you just lose one of these fortified rounds

38:55 I don’t think you can retreat without also taking your nazgul with you. It’s the same concept if for example Aragorn was an army and he got attacked. Can’t just leave him there, to protect him from dying on the next attack. That nazgul also killed strider, so that could’ve had massive game consequences on a rules error!

At 38:40 that's an illegal retreat. The whole army has to retreat, you can't choose to leave the nazgul, which ended up being important because of the hit on the reroll on the subsequent FSP move!

I like your approach to the game. I definitely do not like the standard Strider Sprint vs Military Rush, neither playing it nor watching videos. I mostly play WoME physically nowadays for that reason. I guess you decided against playing Lidless Eye on the penultimate turn due to only having one C?

41:00 It's understandable that they didn't move backwards into Woodland Realm for healing. Rarely have I ever had great success from moving backwards to heal, although recently I did just that to heal down fro 8 corruption to 2: I got two turns of healing, Athelas for 3, and another healing card, plus I was able to remove Worn With Sorrow and Toil from the table. But in this instance, it looked like you were going to conquer Woodland Realm anyway. Tough choice. I think either choice could be justified there.

Hey, interesting to see a game played so far back :D I would have definitely played some of it differently At Lorien I said "wow" cause you rolled 0 hits with desperate battle - pretty bad roll that was influential. It let me take the Lorien in the end. My guess with the card cycling is that I was looking for recruitment cards to take Rivendell, 3 elite cards, New Power, Misty Mountains, Rage - plenty of options to reinforce that attack. Going for WLR opens me up for a mess from Carrock, it was 18 vs 9 hp, but mine was pretty fragmented and also I would have to go in in waves, it's always super awkward. MT was a better target IMO. The palantir comment was overall, at the time of the comment I think I drew 2 cards out of it and if I rolled any P I could have played corruption game a bit more. The move for Pelargir at the end of T8 was simply to force you to not move the FSP with the last C. I simply wanted to buy more time for next round. I should have just moved back to MT after you went to Pelargir and that would actually kind of work. Definitely a misplay to stay out in Lossarnach. GG!

Pretty big rules mistake in this game - you can't stop the attack in DA because you used corsairs. Card specifies you can't cease the attack.

Why Cirdan's Ships so low? It's one of the most powerful muster cards for FP.

when moving the fellowhip through moria with the balrog in it. Is there any rule telling which tile to draw first? (if the Stronghold or the Balrog tile first?)
