Sarah has the Schwalbe Marathon that came with the bike. Never had a flat, never had a problem. I have the Continental Contact Urban and had one flat in 15 month with a lot of Asian roads. Not complaining about both at all ☺️

It doesn't have a CE Testmark and is not registered to be StVO compliant, that means, you are not allowed to use it in public traffic in Germany, cause, you know how it is: if it's not tested, its red light isn't red enough or illuminates with a different frequency, omg, very very dangerous and illegal in Germany! Dito for: mounted to high, to low, flashing lights directly mounted to a bicycle (but mounted to the drivers helmet or backpack is okay) , but still: veeeeery dangerous and we Germans don't like that at all, jawoll! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

@@hyomandibular Yes they cooked. In our other downhill video you can hear me say to Sarah that my brakes smell very bad 😂We had to wash off a lot of rubbish from the rims in the evening.

@@thebrommuters6220 bravo on climbing the Shouka pass from east to west on Bromptons, which is much steeper than the other way.

In this case exactly there: in the hotel. We stood there for another week at the end of the trip. But there are so many possibilities. Once, we stored them at the airport service, or send them to our last destination (if it's not a round course trip) or don't bring them at all and take a foldable padded bag

@@user-or9rm3gq4l There wasn't any charge. Almost all hotels 4 stars and above will store your luggage for free if you have a booking with them for later. We ask in advance and chose the ones that are more "customer oriented" 😁

Short answer is: we didn't 😂😂😂 loads of side streets and even the dedicated bike path were closed , specially on the western side. Wait for the next videos. But we made it look good as well 😁😁

I rather leave it in as long as possible (or until it breaks 😂) cause I don't wanna push my luck to far with the plastic threads - extra chain tensioner is a yes from me. Ours last for around 6000km now, that's more as I expect from a plastic piece. - that was the Fiberfix spokes thing, I stuff these and the chain box in the tire -zip ties yes, Forget they are in the Borough bag 🫣 - Not for the Bromptons, but in our Fatbikes - yes, chain breaker is in the Multitool and Spoke key as well. Have you already installed the double chainrings ?

@@thebrommuters6220 Yes, we replaced our 44T with a 33T/50T. Did a few local rides, very pleased so far. Next, we will travel with it (Bruges - Berlin). We plan a video this summer to discuss installation and field test results. How about you-Back from Taiwan?

Es waren Focus RS ohne Ende! Von den letzten 34.000 gebauten waren da mindestens 30.000 unterwegs 😂 Als Ford Fiasko XR und ST Tuner seit 1998, fällt einem sowas auf 🫣

Manche Dinge drängen sich auch ganz einfach auf wenn man mal ein paar Tage lang mehr als 70 km am Stück mit so einem Rad fahren will.

6 Speed, 44 T

Der kam an anderen Tagen 😁 Wie so oft auf Radfernwegen beschränkt sich auch dieser Radweg oft auf ein Straßenschild alle 3-5km, teilweise auch auf dem Highway, wo man dann den Seitenstreifen befährt, der natürlich voll Glas und geilem anderen Zeug liegt oder plötzlich aufhört. Aber es ginge schlimmer, es könnte auch wie Hanoi sein . Alles easy!
