Cheers Phillip, looking on the news it looked like a great day in Sydney. I made the video in the hope that it will spark the conversation that needs to be had about where the country is at, everything needs to be on the table and worked out. For as long as I can remember the country has never moved forward in anyway unless you count a totalitarian takeover where the people are being enslaved. Thanks as always for the kind words and support, planning on making a heap more content but needed the break after everything we went through in leaving Phuket, but I'm back at 100% now and ready to roll again...

Thanks Mr Mike, we're still kicking and will explain more in some upcoming vid's about our personal journey and why we walked away, could've done it earlier but needed time to reflect. As for the future of Karon that's a tough one, rules and laws are constantly moving, only yesterday new laws were passed for the selling of alcohol and everyone needs to reapply. To me it smells of a corporate big business take over and I've had that opinion from the start that's why we left. I wish everyone still in business there well because it will get tougher. Thanks for the message and support mate.

Thanks Paul, appreciate it mate. The last month or so of the lockdowns have been so draining that it's been tough to speak about anything. If I show people around here at the moment it would come across as so negative. I'll try to come up with something this week but mate, it's tough. I've seen people trying to be positive and think that everything will open next month but then you see reports that airlines won't cover passengers that have had the jab as they pose a risk for thrombosis clots. As i said in the vid, I don't even think we're at the starting line yet and I've been feeling like that old donkey with the dangling carrot. Thanks for the support and if there is anything in particular you'd like to see I'm happy to go out and show you.

Give this guy a call, Thai guy and speaks really good english and every time I use him he always charges Thai prices. He specialises in old Mazda's and has a garage at the back of Chalong almost in Phuket Town. He'll direct you in. He also does call out service which I've used a few times. 0935866857... Mate, completely devastating. The one's that could survive on promises are just about done. In this area the shutdown is wiping the remainders out. Anyone who thinks there is light at the end of the tunnel is delusional at best. They are sucking the last of every small business..

Honestly mate, I really appreciate your view, but when you've lived it here and see closure after closure and I do know most personally you do look at the "big picture"... The flocks that you speak of won't be what you think. There wouldn't be anything better than what you say, but in reality what I see in my face everyday paints a different picture... I can show you 5 star resorts falling down... I don't want to show that stuff hence the no walk and talk... I know about Super Cheap Pharmacy, there is a few older blokes around that are reliant on their medications and I was shocked at how cheap it all is there. Compared to what you'd pay anywhere in the world it's so cheap. Thanks again for the advice and for your comments. Appreciate it mate

Cheers Mike Mike, I hear you mate. I honestly don't think there will be enough money around for people to rebuild. The Thai Government has said that from April if you've been vaccinated you only have to quarantine for 7 days and those that haven't have a 10 day period, the fit to fly stuff is apparently being lifted as well, but see what happens, for the last year the news has always flip flopped so what is right today is wrong tomorrow. Hope to catch you for a beer when you get here.
