Brilliant work. Your editing skills are already on point. Cool to see Mark. lol at 'he's a mad man'. Indeed he is. I'm not sure if this is the effect you were going for but he came across a bit like Teller from Penn and Teller, just standing there silently. Thanks for taking the time to edit and upload this video. Good stuff.

Much appreciated mate, learnt it all from watching you, have a lot more respect for the content you put out and how polished it is. Was going to call Mark Feargal Sharkey, but will go with Teller, you hit the nail on the head, real "deer in the headlights" type of stuff. Thanks for the support...

Great to see the split scenes below water and above. Looking forward to some of the adventure angles you and Mark are obviously planning. Will be great to see some jungle scenes with water content. Not sure about wild life down your way but am sure the locals can lead you to them. I used to watch a bug that came around that hovered like a space ship such a cool dude. Even the odd elephant Beatle combat would be fun to see again..
So glad your doing this and don't forget to film a "How many Thai's fit on a motorbike" am sure you would have some willing participants lol..
Great work , keep it up. It IS appreciated, just don't start snacking on street food it will make us all envious ...

Cheers Phil and thanks for all the support, means a great deal. Street food one will be coming up soon, will also shoot across to some water falls but this time of year there won't be much water around but will try. Thanks again mate...

We were supposed to come over in August but have already cancelled the accommodation. Went to big buddha etc last time and stopped in Karon on the way back to Patong (Hired a taxi for the day). Even then Karon seemed like a pretty sleepy town at 4pm in the afternoon. Not many people around and that was August 2019 so I guess low season. Now we are just going to head to Port Douglas because at worst if QLD shuts down again then we are still within the restrictions.

August and September are always really quiet times of the year. Karon is quite unique in the people it attracts, more family and chilled out place compared with anywhere else on the island, but in saying that it is usually packed from late December to early April. Have a blast in Port Douglas and hope you have a great holiday, you never know when the great lockdowns will happen again, there's worse places to be stuck. Thanks for the comments mate...

Was there in 2019 and went snorkeling at one of the islands phi phi or monkey I can't remember but James Bond was closed so it was like the next one. Water was clear then. I know people say how dirty tourism makes it with all the people but it was fine. Except none of my videos worked because of a cheap ass ebay SD card. Always get the retail SD cards for holidays and video you want to save.

Definitely correct their mate, water has always been beautiful here, more the contrast of having no people around makes it special. Cheers mate.
