I would like to think that the anime movie called Redline was the prequel to The F Zero Universe.

It's funny how hokey it all is while looking legitimately amazing. When I think of a jank 80s OVA I expect it to look pretty barebones in animation, but there's great lighting, textures, lip syncing, and the like. AND THEN THEY TALK and take the piss out of it all lmao

It’s very disappointing that Sparking Zero doesn’t have as many map destructions as this and the very few in the game are even more disappointing and underwhelming. Glad I can still live through nostalgia.
