Hi!

Glitchy one-chord MICROHOUSE / Live Eurorack jam with CIZZLE and Particles
I had to stand up for this one! (Well, some of the time anyway).
I was planning on doing something dubby, but ended up here (I've left everything patched up to try the dub idea later).
This jam is set up similar to others I've done. One chord from CIZZLE is triggered by a Euclidean pattern from Pam's and goes through an envelope from Delta-V and then the Three Sisters filter. The beats are sequenced by Patching Panda's Particles, which I clocked using the same Euclidean pattern that triggers the chord.
I spent a bit of time on the (sub) bass. This goes through two compressors (Dynamics from Dannnysound and Messor from Cosmotronic) and is sidechained to the kick. It's also sort of triggered by the same Euclidean pattern as everything else... I clocked Sequins on Ornament & Crime with the pattern and then made a sequence in Sequins that misses out some of the triggers from the original pattern. (Hope that makes sense).

Chilled Eurorack jam / Clicks and cuts / chords from ALM Busy Circuits CIZZLE (16/1/25)
มุมมอง 22614 วันที่ผ่านมา
In the description to my last video, I wrote that I had felt rusty and would return to develop the patch more. Well, I did return to the patch, but the development went more sideways than forwards. I added a new bass sound, but other than that I didn't really change the patching. I did however, play around with settings and patterns and the result is quite different. I jammed this out for about...
Dubby live Eurorack jam with chords from CIZZLE and beats sequenced by Compare 2 (12/1/25)
มุมมอง 19514 วันที่ผ่านมา
Due to a combination of sickness and celebration this was the first time I had a chance to have a jam for a month. I definitely felt rusty and might come back to this patch to develop it a little more. Anyway, this was my best attempt at something today. The chords are from CIZZLE and go through @busycircuits PE-1 for equalization, Three Sisters for filtering, @holocene_electronics Non-Linear M...
Microhouse / Microgarage / Glitchy dub. Live Eurorack jam with CIZZLE and Squid Salmple (13/12/24)
มุมมอง 262หลายเดือนก่อน
In this jam, I first made some beats with UKG samples from the UTTU USB drive for Squid Salmple and recorded and edited them in Ableton. I then recorded these beats back into different channels on Squid and used them in this patch by triggering them with Pam's Pro. The chords are from Cizzle and are filtered by Three Sisters filter, with envelopes coming from Delta V. The bass is the TZ-VCO fro...
Electronica eurorack live jam / Live-sampling ALM CIZZLE with Squid Salmple (2/12/24)
มุมมอง 192หลายเดือนก่อน
A little electronica. Every now and then I base a jam around the live-sampling polyphonic patch that ALM Busy Circuits@busycircuits explain in this video: th-cam.com/video/ZSUvQq9qs64/w-d-xo.htmlsi=cLvU07-KAkqwla9j In this patch, I'm recording a single note from Cizzle and then using three channels of Squid Salmple to play it back at different quantized pitches. The three channels receive trigg...
Clouds Resonator ambient dub / Live Eurorack jam (25/11/2024)
มุมมอง 1562 หลายเดือนก่อน
This jam wasn't supposed to sound like this. I started by feeding the Twin Peak Resonator into Three Sisters and then creating feedback loops by patching Three Sisters outputs back into both itself and TPR. I also sent a looping envelope from Pip Slope to ping TPR. Pip Slope was triggered by one of the outputs on Particles. My aim was to build up kind of random glitchy beats by using the other ...
Soft glitchy chords and beats (Clicks and Cuts style)) / Live Eurorack jams (12/11/24)
มุมมอง 2362 หลายเดือนก่อน
The idea here is similar to a video I uploaded a couple of weeks ago. Basically, basing the jam around a repeated filtered chord from @busycircuits Cizzle through Mannequin's Three Sisters (tweaking the oscillator and filter to add some variance over time). I'm hoping the chord offers a hook, and then the beats can be a little more random. This video is two takes on the same patch. In each I'm ...
(Nov 6) Dubby
มุมมอง 1602 หลายเดือนก่อน
Except for the kick, which is an 808 sample, all of the beat sounds come from Twin Peak Resonator. I had a play with the resonator and recorded what I did, then chopped it up and sampled it in Squid. The sequencing is done by Pam's and Particles. The bass comes from another Klangbau Koln module - the TZ-VCO - which goes through Variable Q filter and Dannysound Dynamics (for sidechaining against...
(Nov 1) Two glitchy jams // Live Eurorack performances sequenced by Compare 2
มุมมอง 982 หลายเดือนก่อน
Two jams using basically the same patch here. They both revolve around using Compare 2 to sequence some glitchy beats (using the logic outputs to send triggers). Some of the beat sounds are filter pings (Three Sisters), while others are samples (on Squid) and from Akemie's Taiko. Chords from Cizzle go through Variable Q filter, Non-Linear Memory Machines and Data Bender. I'm also sending envelo...
(Oct 23) Subdued Dub // Live Eurorack
มุมมอง 1143 หลายเดือนก่อน
Hello. I tried to make something a little subdued with heavily filtered chords (although I do open the filter up after a minute or so!). And I think the second half of the jam works better than the first. The jam started life by sending random looping LFOs to Muxlicer and then sending the Muxlicer trigger outs to Squid to trigger samples from the UTTU USB drive for Squid Salmple. I then used Pa...
(Oct 17) Soft, looping two-chord glitch
มุมมอง 2583 หลายเดือนก่อน
I've doubled the amount of chords I usually use in this sort of jam. I'm putting the chords from Cizzle through Three Sisters and modulating various parameters with two different envelopes to create the kind of stuttering sound. After Three Sisters, the chords go through Non-Linear Memory Machine and Data Bender. The drum sounds are sequenced by Particles and Pam's.
Eurorack Dub live jam with CIZZLE and THREE SISTERS (11/10/24)
มุมมอง 1923 หลายเดือนก่อน
I noticed quite a few mistakes when playing this back, but this was perhaps my most enjoyable jam to date! There is white noise on the track, which is going through @cosmotronic6436 Messor compressor and is sidechained to the kick, which creates envelopes on the noise - giving it a bit of motion in response to the rhythm of the track. The chords are from @busycircuits Cizzle, and go through @wh...
(Oct 7) Microhouse // Live Eurorack jam
มุมมอง 2653 หลายเดือนก่อน
I was recently reminded how much I enjoy trying to jam out a 4/4 beat on the eurorack, so I wanted to have a go at that again. I sequenced the beats entirely with Pam's (Pro and New), making use of the logic and phase functions to combine channels and create grooves. The drum sounds themselves are mostly samples. The kick is two 606 kick samples from the Squid Salmple stock USB, which I filtere...
(Oct 1) Electronica
มุมมอง 2193 หลายเดือนก่อน
I haven't done this kind of jam since before the summer, so felt like trying something a bit more melodic. The melody is sequenced with Meta-Q in Ornament & Crime. I'm feeding Meta-Q (using the Phyrygian mode) with 3 lfos from Vector Space, which are selected in turn using Muxlicer as a kind of sequential switch (I also played with the sliders on Muxlicer to help set the melody). Vector Space i...

I love how how the kick, bass and chords play together, and also the very subtle use of reverb at times... you're really the king of chords ! even with just one 😁, you make that cizzle sound so good ! I love it, splendid work again !
You're very kind, man! Thank you 🙏 I should probably have some chord progression going on... just got a bit hypnotised lol :)
@@yassokiiba haha 😵💫 as you should !!
Nice groove man! And I love the video!
Thanks so much, Karl! Glad you like it - I was definitely bobbing me head when I jammed this one out.
As always, perfect groove, atmosphere, subtle variations... to be added to my drums practice playlist for next week! 🤩🥁🎧
Thanks so much, Baptiste! Hope it works for a nice drum session!
@@yassokiiba there's three-four jams of yours i always jam along to every week at least!!
@urbulibaba This makes me so happy!
Yeah, was waiting for the kick. Had to wait a whole 27 seconds! Nice one m'friend 👌
haha! I do love a kick!
This would fit right in with the Detroit House/Techno scene.
Yeah, ended up going for a stripped down version of that sort of thing, I guess (although that wasn't my intention at all when I started... this just sort of happened).
It has such a wonderfully hypnotic effect on my dance muscles, love it🔊❤️🔊❤️
Hi Milan! Thanks so much! Glad it got you moving 💃
This is great!!
Thank you so much!!! :) Really appreciate the comment 🙂
yes mate! love it, and thanks for the patch notes as always
Thank YOU for the lovely comments - always appreciate you listening! :)
Nice one 👍. I get some good, deep warehouse vibes here. Cool vid I really like how you get up close with some of the modules. Loving the tight, snappy percussion here, too. Good stuff man 👍
Thanks so much, man! :)
Just what I needed with my morning coffee ☕️ great jam. Love the percussion.
Thanks so much, Gavin! Hope you (and Noodle) are having a great day
Wonderful result. My opinion is that this could be a great rythm section for a melody. You can grab one keyboard and put some more "colour". Just a thought. Wish you the best !!!!
@@eamfos Thanks so much for the lovely comment and feedback! I did actually try adding a chord progression to this, but then got sucked back into the monotony 😂 Next time, I'll stick with the chord changes ☺️
@@yassokiiba No need to apologize ...you may like it the way it is. It is just that in my head i could "listen" to a lot of melodies blend in with that wonderful track. Keep creating and enjoying music !!!!
@ Thanks again! 🙂 And, yeah, I agree to be honest. I actually had a sequence going to the v/oct input of CIZZLE but it was "muted". I was planning on unmuting it at some point but kind of got lost in the jam and never found the moment. I could probably have also modulated attack times on the VCA and filter cut off a little to add more interest.
@@yassokiibaLast night i did a take and i forgot a whole chord change ....🤭 today i will try again !
@@eamfos Haha! It's easy to do! Looking forward to hearing it (if you choose to share it of course ☺️)
Nice one 👏👌
Thank you!!!! :)
Very up-beat! Nice work Yassokiiba!
Thank you so much!!!! :) :) :)
Very chill relaxing jam has made a great start to my day.
Thanks so much for listening - and so happy you liked it... have a lovely day :)
that was a very smooth & relaxed & enjoyable jam with tight & cool beats. intrigued to hear more 🤩
Thanks so much for that lovely comment - I really appreciate it!
the clicks work so well. I need to stop watching eurorack videos, only just starting out and pretty sure ill end up divorced hahaha
haha! Thanks for the nice comment - and the laugh Eurorack is very much a time/money thief 😅
good vibes good atmosphere... happy place to play around. subbed. Greetings from Germany
Hello from Japan! Thanks so much for listening and for the lovely comment - really appreciate it ☺
Delicate moments. I love the headspace this puts me in. Thank you!
Hi Karl! Thanks so much. I'm glad it puts you in a nice place... I get so lost in these jams. Loved your most recent upload, too

pathfinder!
This has something so fascinating... Loving the delicate music.
Thank you so much for listening and for the lovely comment :)
Fabulous as ever. Always such a chilled groove 💛😁
Thanks so much!!! Always appreciate your comments on here 😊
Nice job
Thanks so much 😊
beautiful ! This is musical balm to the soul, as i just learned of David Lynch's passing one hour ago... 😢
@urbulibaba Thank you so much, Baptiste. Yes, that's terrible news about David Lynch. This will mean a lot less to you, but we also lost Tony Slattery this week and that hit me too. Sometimes we really need music - as you say, a balm for the soul. Or as Arvo Part puts it, music is a friend and comforter.
Really nice jam and the video was very cool. It's always good to mix things up. Those chords from Cizzle sound great (makes me miss my CZ-101 from a million years ago)... mellow and interesting.
@@laspalmas7 Thank you!!! Yeah the CZ sound is so nice. Cizzle does a great job of recreating it too

@@52ndstreetplanetaryensemble Thank you!! ☺️🙌 So happy you like it. Those shots are of rock pools on a beach that I grew up near.
This has a vibe of chill lounge series of CDs this would be great on a compilation like that..

Excellent vibe here!

Awesome vibe to this one. Also really enjoyed the tour around the case. Interesting to see what you’re using.
Thanks so much, Gavin!

@@yassokiiba thanks for the music! it's been really inspirational for me. i'll write you back on bluesky soon, your tips have really helped my own music making
Great jam, really nice patches ❤love it
Thank you Milan! Shame there is no sensory bowl though 😉
@ hahahaha
awesome tune ! i really love those clicky metallic percussions, on the verge of Karplus strong synthesis, it really cuts through the chords and kick, it's a brilliant use of the frequency spectrum. And wow, it is interesting and impressive to watch your modular systems from a diffrent angle... quite the beast ! 🤩
Thanks so much, Bertrand. Haha, yeah, the system grew bigger than I said it would.
Great
Thanks so much!!! 😊
great jam lush chords and i like the unique bounce on the kick drums
Thanks so much! The drums are sequenced by Compare 2 which is great for getting slightly unusual beats and a swing into pieces
The Kick is Rich sounding this is a wonderful ambient Dub!
Thanks so much!!! :)
Really inspired to do something dub now, great jam mate
Would love to hear you do something dubby!
🎉 ❤
🙏
Very happy that you're back in the saddle (and feeling better)! What you call being rusty, I interpret as a very nice, cozy, laidback feel that makes this piece very enjoyable, actually!
Thanks so much, Baptiste! I'm so happy to read that :)
Amazing sound💫🌛🔥🌜💨💨
Thanks for listening 😊
Great chord sounds (especially with that filter)... and I love the percussion. Very interesting use of a window comparator... I've got to explore that!
Thanks so much! Yeah, I love Compare 2. It can do so much, but I tend to use it for the logic outs. You can modulate the parameters that control the window sizes and relationships too, to get some more shuffle or swing going on.
Stoked to see you jamming again!
Thanks so much, Gavin. Enjoying your jams, too :)
i love this one, perfect Sunday listening
Thanks so much! So happy you like it :) Hope you had a great Sunday
