Ha, well that's very kind :) So happy you enjoyed it. I have used bass lines a number of times, but quite often I've left them out. Usually it's for pragmatic reasons - like simply running out of time, or VCOs and sequence/modulation sources. Occasionally I've just been a bit lazy and happy enough with what I have, especially if the chords or whatever seem full enough. But, yes, lately I've been making more of an effort to fill out the spectrum with a little more sub and lower frequencies.
