Will solder come off after time?

I actually followed the video and fixed two drivers. It is a little bit difficult to get rid off the old one. In hindsight, it might be easier to cut the old one and solder the new one. Many thanks for making the video

I've got a HYTEKGRO 225 led with a 30w led "controller". I call it PSU. Anyway, it's got the same basic components, and my largeer cap seems to show bulging. Really glad to find your video. Also the cap source. Thank you.

If your cement has a fine mesh wire, an electric current will occur through magnetism. I proved it in a science fair project. Modern construction doesn't use fine mesh wire, but I don't do it out of good practice.

Just cut the old capacitor off the leads and solder the new one to the old leads. That eliminates the risk of messing up the pad and is simpler to do. You could even use a crimp splicer if you don't want to solder (if it will fit)

ive noticed on the regular lamp led bulbs that this has been the same point of failure across 4 brands including GE and Sylvania as well as offshore brands. all but one of a a couple dozen of these were a blown capacitor, seems to be an obvious deliberate point of failure.

U can always use a capacitor with higher voltage but not lower And be carful with the uF have to be the same and If u didn’t find U can Use like 6.8uf Replace it with 10uF it will work just fine
