It's both a blessing and a curse that my family only owns a PS2 and PS3 because that means I got to experience Infamous 1 and 2 recently last year. It's quickly become one of my favorite franchises...but _man_ it sorta sucks to see that I keep getting into franchises that go in 'dormant' states (first Blazblue, now Infamous...).... ...Ah well. Hopefully one day Infamous (and all other dormant franchises that I like, such as Blazblue) will return.

I love the new resurgence appreciation and love for InFamous, specifically Second Son. For like 3 years ive seen people show love for this game to this day. Seeing how well it still looks great for a near 11 year game, specially in the PS5/pro. Delsin himself was a breath of fresh air. He came out during a time when most protagonists were mad grumpy Solid Snake, Sam Fisher, Joel (same troy baker), those veteran aloof character which are amazing, but it got so over played. Delsin was a smart ass, fun character who has a good simple realistic shift of character development. From a bored, lost in his reservation arrogant guy, to a selfless hero who became a beacon to both Conduits and humans, and saved his tribe. Sure, a sequel would be amazing, with Celia as the villian as stated in game and having Delsin meet Zeke like originally planned, but then bring back the Firsr Sons via Celia and Darpa abusing Kessler tech with a new beta Ray Spheres and mechas and boom. Seriously, last 3 years ive seen very well done video essays and even game Yt channels praising it. Anyways bro, great fucking video

I replayed the first two infamous games so many times I’ve lost count, they are both my favorite video games of all time. I actually just replayed the first two games recently. the story, the gameplay, and the characters and their interactions with each other all come together to create an absolute masterpiece in my opinion. Second son was a bit of a downgrade in quality for me though not gonna lie. The story and characters to me were not that good, but the gameplay was solid enough.

Amazing video man infamous 2 was my first infamous game but everything you described about second son is exactly how I feel to. I’m also very happy that you are praising all three games instead of ragging on one of them like other infamous reviewers do and I’m also really happy. You understand why they moved onto the ghost of Tsushima instead of being like other infamous fans who pretend that ghost of Tsushima isn’t a successful game because they don’t personally like it. I used to love Infamous 1 & 2! Great video brother! With so many publishers wanting safe projects these days- hopefully someone will pick this game back up because I know there is a decent audience who would love to play this series again
