Motorcycle jumpers are different than car jumpers. You should have the appropriate battery jumper so you don’t toast your small battery. It’s probably the reason you’re going through so many batteries. Chow amigo🤙

the gens you are yousing are to big to much fule they use 4 to 5 galon ov gas get your self a honda 2200 they youse 1 galon gas and run 8 hours thats what i use i also live off grid i had them big gens they almost broke me save the big ones for runing power tools the small one will run every thing in your camper plus charg your baterys

It is 38°F/3°C. It has been very warm this year. Today is the first real cold day we have had.

You're going to need way more insulation on the storage unit. What we own and live in is a wellsite trailer. It's insulated and built like a house would be. It takes 24 hours with our insulation to freeze a tank of water solid with no heat. It takes 4 days for that tank to thaw with blasting heat on it. If you're planning on heating both RV;s up with wood, you want the one super insulated so the heat doesn't escape through those paper thin walls and roof. You want it to go directly to the hallway you're planning on building. It doesn't have to be pretty, it has to be functional and I personally feel like you're concentrating more on making it pretty. That can happen come spring time. Sure, your bubble wrap is working right now, but you need to remember, when you filmed this, the ground wasn't frozen solid yet and you haven't hit the cold weather. -40 is real in northern Canada where you live. An RV isn't insulated or even rated to live in with those temperatures. Go buy foam boards and use them as skirting. Heck, glue them to the outside of the RV;s all around as well. The kids is what matter most. Ensuring their safety in the Canadian winter. What's the safety plan if everything goes side ways? Vehicles don't like to start in that weather. Spend the money on good insulation. Who cares if it looks insane, it will keep you all safe and warm.

I know it looks rough but your dogs are just playing with each other. They actually really need to play, It’s an important part developing their socialising skills as well as their self control. I promise you, if they were fighting you would know about it. It’s totally normal & healthy. They may climb on top of each other or bite each other even make noises. It’s a way the dogs also learn to gauge their strength & how much is to much, with big dogs like these two you want them to have a sense of how strong they can be as well as how gentle. The dogs will let each other know when enough is enough or the play is too rough. They are beautiful dogs.

I'm in Sudbury, you can't live in a trailer up here in the winter without wood heat, even then moisture will be a huge problem with seven in a small area

Can u put in wood stoves to help with heat.

There is some heat tape they make for heating an oil tank that might work for keeping your water tote from freezing

There is small water turbines if you have a stream near by I have seen them on some TH-cam channels

Not sure what panels you have but there are panels called daylight solar as the name sugests these work in daylight and do not need direct sunlight so these might be better for your winter useage

Put the big card board boxes on the floor of your 2nd building and it will help keep the floors a bit warmer.

Those camper hot water heater/tanks really are inefficient. Perhaps look into a tankless unit next year.

wow the laws up there must be different than here in the states , cus if any pawn shop buys stolen property they can be in alot of trouble and if you have a police report the pawn shop has to give your property back to you. Sorry that happened but just know that Karma has a way of making things right again.

We have the same Firman dual fuel generator. When it was just under a year old the dial cracked and it also quit working on propane. Been to busy to deal with it. Currently using a Benchmark one and have had no issues plus it has a 5year warranty. Our small Champion has went throu 2 pull cords. Is your dryer electric or propane? (If propane how is the efficiency?) We have a huge battery bank that will store 3 to 4 months of power for the winter time. We bought the cells and built our own boxes. Saved thousands doing that. The cells were ordered from China so took 2 1/2 months to arrive to Canada. I wish we could share photo's in the comments. Great progress on the trailer. Everything takes so long it can be frustrating but slow and steady wins the race. Enjoy your vacation.

I must be living wrong that vacation looks marvellous lol. I hope you find everything in place when you return and not too frozen. We are suppose to get snow squalls for the next two days so we could get anywhere from 6 inches to 2 feet winter is late this year so I expect it to be 2 feet. I think I would stay for the winter where ever you went .Had to let it sink in no kids no dogs no wife maybe AI is your friend. lol

Looks like Hoof Fungus and that’s reindeer lichen. The former is good for fire tinder and the latter is what caribou eat and is edible but has no taste/substance really haha.
