Just ordered- Mount Kt, oil pan, trigger wheel, rear Diff bushings..didn't know they were in Russia lol shipping was expensive

@@joemurcia3527 yea shipping a bit expensive but well worth it. You have just saved a ton of money for sure. When it comes to the oil pan, you will need the oil pan pick up tube from an rx8. Message me on instagram or facebook and ill show you what to modify. @freemadc2

Hey man. Im sure you can with some trimming and trial and error. I currently run the same setup on my FD here in Arizona without ducting and have been getting steady oil temp. Eventually i want to add ducting 👍

@freemadc2 that's amazing, can't wait to see the new content!! So far just an upgraded radiator, and power fc ... still stock twin turbo , I've mostly built my evo and will build the fd later on down the road

@@ThojHmoob97 Honestly, i dont remember doing the wirings. I think the deal was to just install the front end with the homie.

I believe you can, but alot of fabrication is needed. Fusing the fenders is probably the hardest part, then mounting.

I think for those upgrades, It was around $1000-$1200. I went with koyorad for my oil coolers cause they were much cheaper and a nice brand.

Yes. JDM 5 speed is better because it had the same internals as the FD RX7 transmission.

But I’m looking to removed it I’m just wondering if he’s on stock Ecu like me so I know if ima gonna run into problems or if I should get a pfc

My bro didnt have the bumper support, but basically there's a retainer that goes on top of the JDM bumper support that holds the bumper.

@@ARP_king5.56 My friend just searched on Offerup was collected as much as he can. So all parts he bought didn't come from the same jdm front end.

RX8 fuse box. You will only need to change the ECU and wire it up in order for your k24 swap to work.

@@freemadc2 what you think about the RWD wire looms? Waist of money or will the factory one still work?

@@Level_Up_Nation anything from rywire is an amazing product, but if you are on a budget, you can definitely make a harness yourself.

@@Level_Up_Nation I heard EMU Black indeed works in the RX8, but not alot of info last time i checked. I went with adaptronic modular, cause i know it works with the stock can bus equipment from the get go.

Hello, yes everything bolted up. No modifications needed. I forgot to mention that my headlights were OEM xenon hid that matches the S2 headlights I got. The pigtail for the harness needed to be replaced. If you have OEM Xenon HID equipped on your vehicle, then you can follow the wiring diagram on th-cam.com/video/4J10M_yudc8/w-d-xo.html. Unfortunately, I did not cover the non Xenon headlights.

@@freemadc2 Well I actually got an idea to make it really simple but wont know until I have everything. I am thinking that if the light sockets on the headlights themselves where the harness plugs into are removable and they are the same size, I could just swap them over from one to the other and then there would be little to no wiring modification needed at all. Only thing is, the S2 I am going to look at this weekend doesnt have the fog lights/DRLs so that would be the only thing that could propose an issue is putting the S1 fog lights on and having them work without being on their own switch and having that hidden in the console or somethin like that.

The battery weight isn't really that significant. The main reason to relocate it is for more cooling airflow in the engine bay.

​​@@inoahmann7542The weight is definitely significant, especially the balance. You're taking about 30-35lbs from the nose of the car and putting it down into the back... Some do this from the sake of battery discharge issues as well, I'm going to be running a shorai and will be doing this soon.

Yea thats what I did. Could it be that my starter is just old? Also, previous owner didn't really do the best auto to manual conversion + battery relocation was horrible. Which is what I am trying to fix now. Once I fix all the electrical mess, I will give it another go with the compression tester.

@@freemadc2 do you have any way to see the voltage while you are cranking? It sounds like its having a huge drop. With my charger I can set it to 12v while cranking and it keeps voltage up nice and high vs a cheap trickle charger which cannot keep up while cranking. Regardless the compression tester adjusted the numbers for you at 250rpm. I have my battery relocated as well and had sluggish cranking. Installed a high output 3kw starter and didnt make much difference. Went and looked at the lines from battery to starter and noticed a ground was breaking. Fixed that and made a huge difference.

Which one you referring to? The one that is on the oil pedestal is from Franklin engineering and the external oil filter + thermostat is from improved racing. All hoses and fittings are from red horse performance

@@freemadc2 the RB one is a presilencer...just to reduce sound. There's no actual cat in there for emissions/fumes

I did feel a bit weird about it being at 185 rpm. I connected two batteries during the test, but still got the same RPM. My starter could be just old. But, if that’s the numbers @ 255, then I’m hella happy about that. Thanks man for the input!

@@freemadc2 I havn't used the compression tester before but each time you crank it, it flashes between 4 different set of numbers. The first is the compression @ 178/185 RPM, the second one should be the adjusted numbers as you can see on the second line it says 'Corrected at altitude and RPM'

Yea. That is on my future list of parts. I will be getting the FFE idler pulley since i think they got a version that clears big turbo.

@@autosymphonia HKS downpipe, to this racing beat resonated midpipe, to racing beat dual tip exhaust. 3 inch all the way. Made the car soooo much quiet compared to the HKS carbon ti exhuast.
