    Every accident I've been in, I've been super calm, but not with my kids. Was in one near accident with my kids in the car and I was absolutely furious. I definitely feel you.

    Doing this swap currently did the headlights clip right together? The only wiring you did was for the signal?

    • @freemadc2
      @freemadc2  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello, yes everything bolted up. No modifications needed. I forgot to mention that my headlights were OEM xenon hid that matches the S2 headlights I got. The pigtail for the harness needed to be replaced. If you have OEM Xenon HID equipped on your vehicle, then you can follow the wiring diagram on th-cam.com/video/4J10M_yudc8/w-d-xo.html. Unfortunately, I did not cover the non Xenon headlights.

    Ive seen ways of cutting or sanding the front fenders on an s1 to make the s2 bumper fit. I am planning on getting the rocket bunny kit which only comes on s2 rx8s. Is there a way to make the front bumper for ak s2 fit on an s1 without remaking the front end. PLEASE HELP

    • @freemadc2
      @freemadc2  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      LionsKit actually sells a S2 replica bumper. No sanding and cutting needed and bolts right up. You can find it in the link below. lionskit.com/tproduct/162939156-376405053106-front-bumper-r3-style

      @@freemadc2I appreciate the info. With the tkyo bunny kit the flairs are small then the s1 fenders on the sides of the car. I was thinking on cutting my fenders to make them fit. However the problem come in with the width going into the from bumper. To make it flush id again have to cut the bumper but further down there would be exposed cut. That why i was thinking a normal r3 bumper becouse its thinner on the sides towards the fender. So with minor modifications would I be able to fit a normal r3 bumper on my s1?

      @@freemadc2 Great content mate, keep it up! I'm gathering parts to do the same on my 04. Have you tackled the headlight wiring yet? Was yours halogen or xenon originally?

    • @freemadc2
      @freemadc2  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FenderRealm Yep Part 2 above covers the headlight wiring. I found out this only applies in the US Spec Front end. If your front end does have 3 wires for the turn signal, then the wiring I provided will help, if not, it will just be plug and play from what I heard. :) My S1 was Xenon, so it was straight plug in to my S2 Xenon. If you have Halogen, there is just a couple of wires you have to move around from what I read.
