This is another of Andrew Lloyd Weber's work. There is an identifiable characteristic to his melodies, though I haven't figured out exactly why they are so appealing.

I cannot find any information about this song. It is an old song, and many similarly named songs exist. I remember singing this with my sister. It starts: Tell me why the stars do shine, tell me why the ivy twines, tell me why the sky's so blue, and I will tell you why I love you.. I didn't copy this from any printed reference because I can't find any. The song is simple and sweet.

This song is another by Andrew Lloyd Weber. "Evita" is one of his brilliant musicals. It's best on stage.

My idea for today was to play "O Happy Day" in every key. The idea was perpetual "Happy Days" all of the time. I hit several keys, but went on too long. The idea was good. I just ran out of attention.

This is "Memory" from the musical "Cats." by the great Andrew Lloyd Weber, one of the great melodists of our time. I played this before but called it "Memories." Clearly, I was wrong., I didn't listen to my old version, but the music makes its own way.

I already posted what I thought was my version, but my technical talents raged, and I posted 2 or 3 minutes of me looking at a blank screen, so I re-recorded it. It's not exactly a piano song, but I did my best to present reasonably.

This song is by Earth, Wind and Fire. It's a great song, but not what I'd call pianistic. So this took me a while to come up with a version that sort of works. I'd rather have Earth., Wind and Fire at my party.

This song was made famous by Brenda Lee in 1962. Greek composer Manos Hadjidakis. The translation of the title of the Greek version is "Don't Ask the Sky.' That's Greek to me. I learned the details by playing along with Brenda Lee on youtube. Enjoy.
