@bak3s Doesn't quadlock come with USB connection? Just plug it in maybe?

@ they have two options, one comes with a USB adapter and the other comes with red/black wires you need to hard wire (which I have).

@bak3s I think it would be much simpler to just wire the quadlock to the battery. Then use the DC for other stuff like camera or heated gloves...

@genxjya yes I had to buy my bike in Georgia, ask the dealers here want to charge thousands in fees. I think the heat went to there heads 😂

Do the initial on your own. Just take ur time and get the right tools. Then go bonkers on mods. Start with frame sliders first just don't get really overpriced ones...

@Deceptolon Others said the 2nd port is for the quick shifter. So if I get the OEM Heated Grips then I can plug it in there? Do you know where I can get the OEM heated grips that plugs into it? I'm in the USA and can only find the one that wires to the battery...

@91187ovr It's a great mount system. I believe the Ninja 400 is slightly smaller size so probably won't fit but should fit 650, ZX6R, 1000...

Quadlock fits my 650 just fine. There are different size adapters, you need to make sure you use the correct one.

@jarsky You can get the Quadlock to fit initially but comes loose soon or later.

@mragentraptor702 You still need a 1inch ball adapter. You can get the Tusita one that's in description or get the quadlock.

@mariusz3292 It's supposed to be compatible to 1000. It's Amazon so you can return it if doesn't fit.

@tomicabrera231 I put some sticker heat shield on the inside of bottom left fairing. Nothing melted except for the carbon fiber tips on exhaust.

@IOverdoneCrownI I'm in the USA so we only have one sensor. I think Europe and some other countries have 2 sensors for environmental control. Try it with just one sensor. Maybe you get an engine light. Also, if you have issue with engine not starting or cutting out, then increase the "idle speed" with control on bottom right of bike.

@Band222 Probably not a good idea. The o2 sensor may go crazy. Also, the muffler and cat converter are one piece. Once u cut that off the pipe is just gonna hang on bottom of bike.

@Band222 I had to take off the aftermarket exhaust when I traded in the ninja 650. I'm in the NY/NJ area if u want to get it cheap from me. I'll also include bunch of left over parts for Ninja 650...

@louierivera7512 If you want something cheaper, search Amazon for DMD or Shogun Frame Slider for Ninja 650. Also, Front Axel Slider (there are also rear axel sliders but u can't install it since Ninja 650 has a pin in the rear axel).

I'm not sure but if you don't have that dummy hole next to dash then probably don't have the power connector. You would probably need to buy amazon usb that connects to battery directly.

I didn't. Anyway, had to remove and put oem exhaust when I traded in. If u r near NYC, u can have mine for cheap price.

This exhaust is only for US version with 1 O2 sensor. If you already bought it then maybe you can plug the 2nd slot with plug screw that came with exhaust?

@genxjya it's not that a slot remaining. It's the second sensor (and the wires) that are left hanging, and I'm nervous if it will appear the check engine

Actually it's more expensive otd then similar msrp/cc bikes. Also used prices are much higher than others. For example, I could get Z650 or Ninja650 for minimum $1k less than mt07.

@@genxjya the mentioned are very beginner friendly. I know because my wife has the z650. The gsx750, honda hornet 750, gsx8s are the bikes the mt07 has to compete with.

I don't think it has anything to do with the price. There's clearly an error in manual, cause they torque spec is way to high for such a small bolt.

That's crazy. For the rear axel, I used 75 ft lbs instead of 77 ft lbs in the manual. I think yamaha or any manufacturer should always design so there is some protection above or below torque. Especially for common maintenance stuff.
