From personal experience in this game, Full EAXMC build is perfectly good for Cyclops and Basilisk. With a medusa, i needed AX NPCs to help exerting the hearts. Hearts themselves melted fast. Hydra... Yeah. Not ready to even try. Probably have to switch back over to HOTAS an FA off flying for that.

question: why are most AX builds I see hull-tanks if it's well established that shield tanks are the way to go in this game? What's stopping me from taking an engineered Cutter load it up with the biggest guns I can find, a shutdown field neutralizer and blasting Thargoids up?

I dont know if this will help you, but i been turning on my night vision. i feel like it's easier to hit my shots. Great kill tho and that cold orbit is on point. Im still learning it myself

With your ability to avoid getting oozed by caustic stuff I wonder if it would be better to take dedicated repair limpets instead of the scrubber one... You can still burn the caqustic ooze of if you happen to get hit.

Wow great content, I'm just getting into the Thargoid war myself, played ED for years but never bothered with the Goids until recently, I got quite a few good pointers and learned a few things I hadn't learned elsewhere! Thank you for uploading and I hope you get many more subscribers as you have a good presentation and bit of good humour with it.

Minor detail, but at 6:30 you talk about the Medusa swarm size being 64. That's is incorrect as 64 is a Basilisk. Medusa's have 96 Thargons in their swarm and a Hydra has 128. Also, I noticed you weren't putting 4 pips to weapons on your attack runs. Is this common when running just 3 gauss? I typically run 2m2s with a bean and run without an EAXMC. If this isn't common for 3 gauss, that is likely the cause of your extra heat as well as some of you attack runs being less successful. Your aim is pretty solid and I think if you had put at least 3 pips in weapons it would have been smoother and knocked down hearts on the first pass. Good flying though and good awareness of your faults and where you need to improve. Keep up the good fight. To the Glory of Mankind....o7.
